Microsoft fans? Ori is on Steam as well, and it's top of the top of the line, check the Steam page, it's golden from beginning to end.
I did a 100% run this summer, I would seriously rank it top 5 best games ever made.
I kind of forgot about all the NES games. This would be cool for a Nintendo version.

Hmm. I see most seem to like it. I think it's a game that will cater to my taste.
I think the best deal they could make: release Rare Replay on the Switch, but include the DK games Rare made in it, call it "Rare Replay +" (quick workshoped title, not final). And on the flipside, the DK games will become available to Xbone owners as Rare Replay DLC. MS finally gets DK, in a way.
Nintendo isn't allowing any of their ips appearing on xbox. Ya'll should not cultivate this dream

There is no "deal". MS just wants certain games on switch. They're already a switch publisher
If you've been following the development of the game, you'd understand. You're talking about 11 separate engines. They can't even get Reach into the Xbox One version right now. But it will run on Switch? Nah.

These are strange times man, I dunno. I agree its rather unlikely but if companies keep playing ball with each other like this, something cool might blossom. A man can dream at the very least :P
You're right, but where it was a Ninja Theory published release, rather than something with another publisher, I imagine there was more control there.

Moon Studios is pretty adamant about maintaining 60fps in their games so it'll be interesting to see how the port is handled.
So what if they don't own a Switch? That's the point. Most people don't own multiple systems.

What's so hard to understand that Microsoft fans aren't getting anything from Nintendo? That's not how this always works. Microsoft is getting money.
How do Xbox gamers benefit from Ori NOT being on other systems?
I love this approach from Microsoft, gives me less incentive to pick up an Xbox and I get to maintain 2 consoles during a generation with access to more games since I don't think I'll be building a gaming PC any time soon, would much rather put that money somewhere other than gaming and those $400 I'd be spending on an Xbox could go to a few more games. Pretty cool stuff, MS is doing things right these past few years.
I don't think Banjo Kazooie is ever showing up in an indie presentation.
HLM1/2 were the overwhelming winner but MWCXD and Serious Sam both also got a lot of requests it seems.
