Dragon's Dogma is a fast-paced action game? Depending how it runs I could delay my PS4 version purchase.
I mean, yeah, it is really neat. It is, after all a Good Game™. I just wouldn't qualify them announcing this as "dropping bombs" lolWell I meant collectively over the past year but this is a cool port to have on switch in my opinion
It's basically like playing a moderinzed version of the Capcom D&D arcade games.

Sounds good (And reasonable, given history) to me. The Switch has been the best thing to happen to Nintendo in a long time. Let's hope they keep the good decision making of the last 4 years. There is going to be a major increase in 3rd party support for the Switch in 2019 btw

100%. this is going to be a very special year, finally nintendo has a massively successful console on the market that has a very wide audience and caters to a lot of tastes, they're all in on one platform instead of two, third parties are in, both western and japanese, indie and major. in other words:I expect the best year for a Nintendo platform since very long
Hopefully it's not just ports of old gamesThere is going to be a major increase in 3rd party support for the Switch in 2019 btw

No, it's really not all that surprising.
Honestly, not a fan of "insider" coming to threads dropping extremely vague posts like that.

I know this game is best played with a party, but how essential is a full party as opposed to say, a two person party?
I like to play as lone-ranger types, and I don't mind a partner. But the less people in my party the better.
Totally possible. One of the classes actually gives bonuses (assassin) on you being a lone wolf.
