Well yea, they've said they're not showing the campaign until it's complete. After how heavily the first footage was critiqued it makes perfect sense.
Yeah - I think halo 2 is a low tier campaign, but worse than 5 seems like crazy sauce (note: I'm in the minority that really likes Halo 4 though)

nah they probably took it down temporarily to stop people from hammering their server refreshing.
Vaporware and 7's are overly dramatic. But I will put it this way - if they were trying to make sure the game was "extremely polished" instead of "fairly well polished, but with a few minor issues", they wouldn't have delayed past all those milestones. We're only talking the difference of 4 weeks. I would assume this indicates that they feel like the game really needs that extra time, not simply that they want to do some last minute touch-ups to make it perfect.
This doesn't mean it's going to be ultra rough necessarily. But it's not a date they would have picked lightly.
At this point I'd personally prefer they push it back even further and actually ship with Coop in March or something. If Nov 15->Dec 8 is a major difference in quality such that they felt like it was necessary, then I'd be surprised if they couldn't also use even more time for everything, not just coop.
It probably isn't but it's one I'd agree with. It and Halo 4 are trading blows for the worst campaign.

Well the German lady announced the award during the show, and I read elsewhere on Twitter today they submitted a 10-minute gameplay reel. Making assumptions about it being more than just 10 minutes of the beta. Via the gamescom site: "

My order is similar, I'd just put 2 on the bottom…after a lot of spaces.
The SMG is trash. They ruined the pistol, AR, and shotgun. The level design is ridiculously linear. The difficulty is completely unbalanced with the bullet spongiest enemies in the entire series. What's actually good about that campaign? The BR and brutes are the only good things I can think to come out of 2.
Sadly, I eventually got an "out of stock" message after refreshing dozens of times :(
I think Halo 2 had an interesting story and setting. Other than that I have to agree with you. It's ranking very low for me as well.
Vaporware is when a long-established series has a game in development that gets a December release date, and limited edition hardware with its branding sells out immediately.

I forgot they announced a controller when I read this comment and I was really concerned...
I said this in another thread, but if the game really isn't ready, I wish they would delay it again. I'm not sure if they even need it in December to move consoles because the consoles may still be selling out, for all we know. Just give it the treatment the Halo franchise deserves. In the meantime, there's plenty of other stuff to play with gamepass.
