It was 29 years ago Seinfeld aired and become one of the greatest shows to air. I can't count how many times I've rewatched the series.

Remember that racist rant Kramer went on a few years after this show ended ?

One of the best things is Jerry's rules no hugging and no lessons learned, you never had any throw away scenes that tried to get emotional like an after school special

I've been going through season 4 over the past month and pretty much every episode is a hit. It's really great.

Huh, I had no clue this show started in 89. I always thought I started in the 90s.

Is it a meme that people celebrate or acknowledge these things a year before or after a nice round number. Like, why mark 29? Wait till next year for 30. Seems like I see this kinda thing all the time.

Edit: have you ever noticed how people...

Been meaning to rewatch this for a long time, and this thread finally reminded me to buy the complete series on youtube. Productivity ruined for the foreseeable future...

I don't get it. I'm British, so I'm allowed. But I really don't get it. I only recently learned that Seinfeld is a real stand-up comedian, and quite well regarded. On television, he always looks like some guy just reading lines. How does that work?

I never could enjoy the idea of a group of bitter people who just waste time talking about inconsequential matters.

He's a standard NY comedian in the show, not some big superstar.

That's any forum, to be honest.

Anyway, it's meant to be relatable, to a degree.

Every time I watch Walter White lose it in the clothing store, I think of this scene in the theater.

So many beloved episodes and lines, I couldn't begin to try and post my favorite one.

One of my favorites is an episode where I think George is complaining about Susan and all the talking he has to do and says a line like "all the talking..." and he is just crushed and exasperated. Always gets me.
