Yeah, I'm drawing a blank here too.
Did it have something to do with the gap between the start of the film with Adrian's clean-up crew and the time skip to eight years later? I imagine that may have screwed up a lot of things right there.
Yeah, they're tech does seem to be getting better and better, especially when it's only used lightly.
I think they are okay with that.Makes sense that they would do this, but it's going to add some money to the film's budget.
Don't get me wrong: I don't think they're going out of their way to make sure the movies don't screw with AoS. But AoS has been doing its own (fantastic) thing for a while now. And nothing in Homecoming stepped on AoS.
I mean, hell, the biggest thing Homecoming stepped on wasn't the TV shows in the MCU. It was the other films.
Trolls gonna troll though.
It already looked better in Civil War than it did in X3.
Still waiting for old man face to kick in with Paul Rudd and Keanu Reeves.
They look way too good for their age.

Only time I thought the de-aging affect looked bad was young Tony in Civil War.
Look at this thumbnail and those dead wax eyes.
Yep, it's one of the reasons I love MiB3. I think that movie gets a lot of undeserved hate. It was miles above MiB2
That was seriously one of my favorite casting things of all time.
It literally made the entire movie with how well it worked.
Not one mention of de-aged Kurt Russell in GoTG 2? It was amazing!
Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas were outstanding as well.
People questioning this due to Tarkin in Rogue One: Lucasfilm used their own software for that movie, and it's years behind Marvel.

1. One of my fav movies ever. Wild movie too. That's how his eyes looked back then. This is him from Less Than Zero.
That was already acknowledged as a mistake and retconned back to normal in IW anyway.Did it have something to do with the gap between the start of the film with Adrian's clean-up crew and the time skip to eight years later? I imagine that may have screwed up a lot of things right there.
lol, this.Young RDJ is just a weird looking dude. The tech worked just fine.
Marvel don't do the visual effects. They hire a studio to do this work. In most cases they use Lola VFX which specialize in makeup touchups and now deaging. Not one mention of de-aged Kurt Russell in GoTG 2? It was amazing!

Really hoping this wildly contradicts Agents of SHIELD a whole bunch just like Homecoming stepped all over it, just for the reactions on here.
Filming concluded on the 6th. Trailer I'm guessing sometime in September.
You know it's digitally altered so you want to find faults in itThen why does his face and neck look so weird in that hologram? Maybe it's the structure of the face that's throwing me off.
Kevin Feige already said that we probably won't get a trailer for a few months.
I wonder if one's experience with the actual young RDJ helps this. I used to watch Chances Are and some other of his films all the time as a kid, so it hit me hard seeing that RDJ again. Looked amazing, imo. That one looked really off, though. Super UV effect.
It really didn't, it looked plastic and fake as hell. Weird, botox face and no soul in the eyes.
Yep, he looked perfect. New Ant Man was perfect as well. The only times it looked even sort of bad were brief shots of Kurt Russell in GotG2. Otherwise it's nearly flawless. Maybe we're just not used to it yet; maybe in ten years it'll look really bad.
Sam Jackson is now 70 years old. Black don't crack sure but there is limits. And he hit his 2 years ago.
Jesus. He looks 50 at most in his recent films.Sam Jackson is now 70 years old. Black don't crack sure but there is limits. And he hit his 2 years ago.
