In my younger days I had to take a drug test, and I had smoked the previous night. I passed easily be drinking plenty of water and buying qcarbo from GNC. I've never known a person to fail on it (buy in person, not online.)

This right here. I've personally used this, and friends have used it and it has worked every time. It's about $60 but for a job that's worth it. Just make sure you give it enough time to heat up with the included heat strip thing.

Hey dude well I posted the thread immediately after I applied to the job. I havent had a response to my application yet but the posting period ends on Friday. By that point I will be almost two weeks weed free. Ive also been drinking eight glasses of water a day and exercising for an hour a day working up a sweat simce I posted the thread. Not only have I dropped 10 lbs (gotta update my results in the Era Weight Loss thread on Wednesday) but Ive found I dont really miss it.
So ive taken what advice I can put into practice at this point. Thank you all. Ill be buying some testing kits from Amazon this week and testing myself every week, in anticipation of possibly hearing some news on my application.

Rapid exercise will actually raise your THC in your bloodstream as the fat begins to burn. You want to start now so you can start pissing it out ASAP

Yeah Im a bigger sized dude. But like I said by the time the job posting ends Ill be two weeks clean and the hiring process should take about two weeks, after which Ill probably have to wait one more week before I find out when and how i have to take the test. So we will see. You csn be sure I will update with the honest results of this.

I sold my piss to someone once, he had a little piss bottle that he kept hidden in his underwear or something. Before he went in, he set his car heater on full blast and held the bottle there for a few minutes. Worked for him.
Not much you can do. It takes about 20-30 days for THC to leave the body completely unlike other mainline drugs that leave the system after a couple of hours. If they take hair for sample you might want to cut your hair now and let it grow a little cause it can still be found in it over time.

The bottles usually have a temperature sensitive strip on the side. The person administering the test will no doubt note whether or not it was the correct temperature when it was received. Urine comes out of the body at body temperature. If you hand them a bottle of room temperature piss, they will see that as suspicious and you'll fail the test.

For real, not to backseat mod here, but all these people suggesting OP buy fake urine are well aware that cheating a drug test is a felony in most states, right? Surely this is against ToS?

The test is a month from now? You should be fine if you stop completely right now. If you want to be extra safe, start working out more (THC gets stored in fat), and be excessively hydrated prior to the drug test. A month of cessation should be fine though even if you're a daily smoker. A hair follicle test would screw you over no matter what but most companies don't go that far.

Exactly how does smoking a bit of weed potentially weeks before a drug test have ANY impact on your ability to successfully perform literally any job in the world? Like I understand not wanting employees to be on hard drugs, but weed stays in your system for a punishingly long period of time and has very minor impact on your ability to perform the task at hand (unless you are stoned when working, which is a bad idea for anyone).
The system is flawed, so no qualms in finding work arounds.
They do test for temperature - and it is accurate - but no you dont fail the test at that point if you are outside of temperature range. You then go into a direct observation test there they actually watch you piss in a cup. Full on see everything.
And at that point, if you fail a test you are most often just suspended from applying there. Anywhere from 30-180 days or so.
But if you refuse the direct observation, you are more than likely barred from ever working there ever again.
I work in HR and that's the way things are done here, I assume it is similar in most places.

Most likely they just didn't care about weed. I doubt anything can get it out of your system in 12 hours or so.
I've smoked almost daily for 16 years (except for vacations and stuff). Wonder how long it would take to get out of my system ha.

Let me mention again a few things :)

Second, under no circumstances will I be using synthetic urine. Ive stopped smoking for a week already and working out and staying hydrated.
Third, the test is realistically three weeks away, possibly a month away from today.
If i get the job and get tested and pass, I very likely will not be going back to weed as Ive found I dont miss it as much as I thought I did. If I get the job and take the test and fail, then thats all on me. I will dust myself off and move on. And very likely wont be smoking again.

Oh they definitely cared lol. It legit works. Have used it in multiple occasions when I was young.
Edit: To clarify, it doesn't get it out of your system, it simply masks it.

Pretty sure they use a thermometer to check immediately after you hand over your urine. That gets documented before it gets sent out.

If the test is within a couple of weeks I've heard that working out might be counterproductive. Something about the THC stored in your fat being released. This is, supposedly, especially true for heavy smokers that are carrying a few extra pounds.
Glad you're making progress, I did layoff the bud initially when I made the transition but got back into it 2 months later. Ultimately just smoke now when the following day is a non-work day; I'm not a functioning high
Do not be a goon and chug water nonstop. It will show up as a diluted sample and that is just as bad as a fail. If you got 3 weeks you might be able to pull it off without synthetic urine but I would still recommend fake piss because if you smoked a lot you are gonna need more than 3 weeks. You can also get one of those drinks that "clean" out your system for like 24 hours are also an option, I know a lot of people think they're a scam but those who I know used them have all passed.

It matters how much you have smoked in the past 30 days, not when you last smoked it. If you seldomy smoke, just jog for an 60 min every day and you will pass with flying colors . Don't workout the day before

when i stopped smoking for my last job it took me 55-60 days to get clean urine (used at home tests to see). i was not fat or anything and was active, i'd been smoking high grade daily all day for a very long time tho since i worked from home
30 days sometimes isn't enough if you're really intaking it like i was , it suprised me
hair tests are worse but i have found that if i only smoke every couple weeks or so i can keep smoking and pass those suprisingly, but i'm just a creature of habit personally so i can only pull that infrequency off if i'm not actually buying and keeping it stored around me

I don't know about most states, but it seems to be the case in some. A misdemeanor in others:
At my job the place we use checks for fake urine. And yes they catch people quite a bit. No idea what happens to them as far as criminality, we just hear back that they had a fake.
Ok. I wouldn't doubt some states would consider it a felony, particularly in very specific instances, but I'm questioning the claim it's "a felony in most states."
