Oh don't get me wrong, what Mbappe did was wrong, that's not what I'm arguing with Cow.

Just this sense that teams need to always push and attack even when they are winning for some sense of honor.. its BS.

Oh yeah, on that I agree, in fact I like it when smaller team teams can beat bigger teams defending after a free kick goal/penalty. But, when you're this late on a world cup, most people are neutral (supporting team that they think have great football, and moves like that will makes them loose support).

What Mbappe did for the throw in was dickish.. but I have no problem at all with time wasting in the final 10 minutes. I expect any top team to waste a few minutes to close the game out.
Only the winning team does this, which is cringey and pathetic as all hell. Nobody feels good about doing it, and teams shouldn't fall into this strategy.

Mbappé is 19 years old and will play his first WC final because he dominated every teams he met, he gave everything to achieved his goal, being world champion!

Honestly, Belgium was a huge adversary, congrats to the team.

C'etait le match le plus dur qu'on est eu à jouer, j'espere qu'on gagnera la coupe pour vous!

Wished I'd known I could've used the "I'm just a kid!" excuse when I was 19 whenever I acted the cunt.

People actually buy it...

You'd think Football is the way of the samurai reading some posts on here. Winning is more important than respect. He was a gigantic bitch for doing this but it doesn't make the strategy less valid, *especially* if the punishment is not maiming the team.

He hasn't throughout the entire tournament. It's the game to get to the final. He isn't Neymar flopping in the group stage. Why are people so dead set on turning on Mbappe all of a sudden ? Like can someone explain it to me

Reading these threads for the past few weeks, I've come to the conclusion that 90% of the posters are watching football for the first time.

It's the only explanation that makes sense.

I find the bashing of England on this thread rude at best and at worst xenophobic/ bordering on racist. I thought I'd left that kind of thing behind when I migrated over from neogaf.
It's embarrassing really how salty some folk are over us having some success for a change.

If nothing else it's helped take my mind off what is happening at B6 :(

I don't agree he is a kid however I'm only criticizing his behavior. Some people are being over the top about it obviously because they are upset but it's okay to call it out and not have to be extreme hatred for him.

He actually provoked a player in the Uruguay match with skills then dived. Now he pulls this. He's not matured enough and I mean he's a kid trying to get his fame. I don't hate him but he needs to grow up.

Are you denying in relative terms he isn't a kid? Meaning compared to how many 19 year olds who are going to the WC finals?

Are you denying that age and maturity are not correlated necessarily?
