What improvements have Wizards made in the offseason? Has John Wall lost a step since his injury? Can John Wall really improve further, and is he injury prone? Is Dwight Howard really the best addition on a team that already has issues (yes I know Gortat was a problem, but Beal and Wall have issues also)

WIth the Pacers you got Oladipo who in one season leapfrogged both Wall and Beal, and is probably the 4th best player in the East.

They kept the best parts of their team, they added Tyreke Evans, they added O'Quinn.

They've got tons of young talent. Aaron Holiday is a solid draft pick. Myles Turner will improve further.

The team is pretty balanced overall, they really have no major weakness and they are a threat from the 3 and play defense.

If Pacer's aren't in the top 4 it won't be because of the Wizards, it'll be the Bucks imo. Giannis is amazing.

Wizards have a bench unit this year.

PG Satoransky
SG Rivers
SF Oubre
PF Green
C Mahinmi

Just saying.. Wizards shouldn't be underestimated.

This excerpt makes sense, his Kansas tapes didn't have a enough material to show off his ball handling and decisions making skills. Exceptional athlete and great off the dribble at either attacking the rim or shooting:

He has literally gotten better in all his strength areas from 2 years ago, great to see his craft improve since then:

This was probably the most complete offensive game I've seen Knox play. He incorporated a left hand finish, operated from the left side very well, knocked down 3's from the right corner, left and right wings. Looked fluent in his attempts and his stamina increased deeper into the game. The kid is going to excel a lot, even as a first option going into this season. His name will be floating around the ROTY conversation for most of next year. He is definitely a pure scorer and will get a lot of opportunities playing the 4, Knicks fans should be excited!

I don't get competetive 2k

feels like you don't have any control over what's happening.
seems too clunky

...Is there a type of squat I don't know about or is he doing them completely wrong??

Might not be doing full squats to reduce stress on his knees? I dunno the man can jump 100 feet up in the air I think it's safe to say he knows how to exercise his legs.

I feel the same way man, there's too much bullshit and jankiness that make 2K unpredictable in a bad way
back when I used to play years ago
It was all about getting to the spot that would trigger the "good" layup animation or whatever. Cause that one goes in more. Felt too automated.
so for them as professionals they probably have whatever cheese down pat

I liked fifa better in that regard

Are there many examples of guys looking like trash in Summer League and then being solid in the NBA?

Hmm... I think Curry and Rose were mediocre? As for look trash no idea. I know there's been plenty of players who've looked like sure things/beasts in summer league and bust in the NBA, it doesn't always translate 1:1. Maybe with a proper team, more spacing, and some work Trae can be a good piece.

Trae Young started playing a bit better after those initial games. Dinwiddie is right that we probably shouldn't shit on the kid too much, he's stupid young and built like a short matchstick. Judging by his body language and some of the god awful shots he was putting up, he got tilted playing against NBA caliber players and never regained his composure.

There's also an argument that some players will do better playing with proper NBA players/systems instead of perennial G League scrubs like Demetrius Jackson, whose greatest calling so far was to soak up some minutes for the Houston Rockets. But well developed and fundamentally skilled players should be killing their G League opposition even if their teammates suck, guys like Josh Hart and Derrick White are showing that there is absolutely no reason they can't be productive on a proper NBA roster.

I'd agree with Snes Jr that its a good indication of players who can't ball.

Yeah but Josh Hart had a proper 4 years of college basketball (not that, that means much these days) to hone his craft. So by all definition he SHOULD be ahead of some of thse G-leaguers.

I feel like there's a reason that there's the saying "Summer League doesn't show you who can ball just who can't."
I thought the saying was if you can make it in summer league you can make it anywhere.

not watching sports shows today, but man football is so corrupt.

i live in austin and have been to multiple UT games. it's routine to see rapists playing on the field. unfortunately i was even at that baylor game right after they had that gang rape. no one gave a fuck

Toronto or Washington should take a big gamble to land Kawhi. They're not going anywhere without a lucky break and won't be relevant much longer if they stay pat.
