Great game, absolutely recommended. It and Xenoblade X were the highlights of the Wii U, and it's really worth a go if you like slightly puzzly fun and haven't experienced it before!

There's four new levels based on Odyssey's kingdoms, and that's about it. If you beat the game on Wii U there probably isn't much to entice you to come back unless you're looking for a replay.
So unsure what to do. I loved the Wii U version but not sure how I feel about buying it again. I know there are new levels but they are removing levels too. Worse part, it won't go on sale cause it is Nintendo.
That being said, I am letting everyone else know they should get it. I didn't expect bad reviews.

Does this game require much use of the touchscreen? If it's there, is it optional or mandatory?

Do reviews mention if theres a way to hide the pointer arrow on the screen when its not being used? Really hated that in the demo...
When playing docked, the game uses a pointer in place of the touch screen. For portable Switch and 3DS, it uses normal touch controls.
I might get this later down the line. If only this thing wasn't coming out the say day as Octopath, I'd buy it.

Digital Foundry did an evaluation of the demo if you're interested in what they thought about the resolution.

Disappointed I can't be there day 1 because of Octopath because this was maybe my #1 wanted Wii U port but I'll be in sooner or later. Depends how long Octopath takes to finish. With Monster Hunter in August I'll need to crunch. I'll also have to stop playing Hyrule Warriors and that's very hard for me to do

I'm in the same boat. I was thinking August, but I'm already getting Wasteland 2, Monster Hunter Generations, Dead Cells, Cosmically Star Heroine, Titan Quest and Code of Princess EX...and my retail copy of De Blob is in the mail.
Maybe I'll ask for it for Christmas

Think I'm going to hold off on this. I still have Hollow Knight, Lumines, and DKTF to beat. Wasn't a fan of the cursor in the demo and based off the reviews, that's not going away or becoming optional in the full game.

I'll say it again. If you have the Wii U version there's no need to buy this unless you want it on the go.

I kind of forgot about it, coming out so soon. I have a feeling that wife, may play through the game on her switch first before I get a chance at it myself, therefore nullifying the close release. LOL.
I think he means posters assuming the worst (lowered resolution) when it's something else (haze effect) is an "era" thing
