Instantaneous for me, they go in the mailbox (making sure you're checking there).
They were there but there wasn't a notification on the mailbox
Didn't realise you can spend silver mynintendo points too - if you go to the my Nintendo website it shows your pocket camp coins + silver coins as the total and lets you redeem from the website. May be handy for anyone with a lot of silver coins

How are the animals that show up to the campsites decided? Does everyone have the same animals every level, or do you get a random animal every level?
I wish a lot of my favorites from the other games were here, but instead its a huge amount of "cute" bunnies and hamsters and frogs.
edit: Also, why do I only run into Japanese players? Its out in the U.S. and other areas so I feel like I should see some of them.

Indeed, the way My Nintendo rewards work for the mobile games is if you redeem from within app it only uses the app's coins. But if you redeem from the website it will use whichever of the app's coins or the global coins are expiring first. Typically you want to get rid of your app coins first because they aren't as versatile as the global coins, but it's more likely you have global coins expiring considering AC just launched. So use judgment!
My understanding is the first batch are set (like 8 or so), and then it's random

Learned from this topic that there are several types of MyNintendo points and you can only spend the universal ones at https://my.nintendo.com
I got 30 points just for logging into the site. I already had 40 Animal Crossing points so that gave me 70 in total, enough to get some cotton and start building a new tent. I was happy!
Then I made the mistake of checking my points history. I had over 200 universal points that expired in August. I am now sad. Redeem those points, kids.
Oh and add me as a friend, 2640 4184 324

New update just landed and labelled bug fixes. Currently loading game to see what was fixed. List will be updated as things are found.
Note: iOS got 1.0.1 and not 1.0.2. I'm not sure if there's a difference in content in these updates.

- NEW VILLAGERS & FURNITURE; Currently being datamined, and a pastebin listing names of villagers and furniture as well as images will be up shortly (Thanks to bluesun). Currently found are 11 new villagers, and 76 new pieces of furniture. These furniture are a mix of christmas and new year (zodiac) stuff, as well as clothing and extra furniture.

Flooring in this category, can it only be used in the Camper?
Yeah so 150x Paper, 10k Bells and 17 hours later... you can't use this flooring at your camp sight. Shit. I've been creating loads of furniture to go with it too :'(

Maybe you should use this as an opportunity to craft some stuff for your camper van!
Most of the people I've run into have been Japanese (I assume based on the name), but I've had plenty of people with English names. It doesn't seem to be divided by region.
It's working fine for me. I'm sure you've already checked this, but is it turned on under More->Settings?
Oh god sorry - I didn't read and pay close attention - I didn't notice you were looking at flooring rather than rugs :(
The only reason I can think of is to make it easier for you to allocate resources
If I had to guess though, it's more likely that the level 2 amenities originally did something but that was changed for game balance reasons, and they just left them there
I like the fact that they give a friendship boost though, splitting that up means you can at least try to boost different animals.

I have actually gone into my camper for only the second time (oh god the camera messes with me) on account of this and will use it there so nothing lost. Just paid my first loan too! That's a grind I'm not ready for, dreading to think how high the final payment will rise to -_-
On that note my custom paint jobs have always been the same. I take it the range increases with more camper upgrades...?
Probably just gonna hold out for the log-in bonus AC print at this stage :p
I was disappointed there wasn't a special event for Thanksgiving. Maybe those are still to come. Nintendo also needs to make the friend's list more user friendly. It's so slow and no notification when people ask for quarry help. Though I have added a lot of people from this thread...

You can put stuff in your market list and friends can buy those items
Can someone tell me why this game has "Game Center achievements"? I click on it and get only an error code. Can't even find much info on game center besides that it was recently discontinued. Then why would they even have added it?

After seeing the long wait times for furniture and tents to get built, along with the repetitive nature of the game, I've deleted the game for now. I'll probably return in the winter break when they've introduced more content and there's generally more going on.
Okay yall, I'm level 20 and am facing quite a daunting decision:
I have a level 2 Sporty tent and level 1 Cool tent. I have the materials to upgrade and I really want to, but isn't it dumb to upgrade now as opposed to when I have most or all of the characters unlocked? I'm thinking about all of the characters that will lose all of those free experience points from upgrading and it's killin me
EDIT: also, can anyone tell me how many leaf tickets an invite ticket costs once I run out?
