I generally agree with many of the criticisms in here about the game, yet I guess that stuff doesn't bother me so much because I'm rather enjoying it. I really like having an Animal Crossing-lite that comes everywhere with me because it's on my phone. I expect that'll also be really helpful for the seasonal events.

Looking forward to seeing how the game develops and gets updated. And to whenever clothes crafting unlocks.

Also, thank you to Chopper for mentioning the animals start giving out more materials at level 10 and above. That's reassuring. :)

72 hours until my first level 5 tier 3 amenity. It's shame the loading screens have spoiled the visual for me. Because I'm not quite sure what the actual benefit of spending all those crafting materials past level 1 might be.

Sell bugs and fish etc.

My main way is using My Nintendo points to get 5000 bells for 100 points. Get 10K a week but you need to fulfill a lot of animal requests.

I'm still running iOS 10 with the top grossing list still there... and AC despite being #1 on the free chart is "only" #66 on the top grossing list (US). I wonder how Nintendo feels this is doing.

wow, that's not good at all. usually any sort of "big"ish f2p game would get to top 10 at least on release week. i can't imagine nintendo being happy about this. i guess it doesn't encourage spending real money that much (i'm level 23 and i've never felt the need to buy leaf tickets, there's f2p games that literally stop you from playing and you have to wait a long time or pay, but here you can always do something even if a timer is going on.)

They just need to start adding more Leaf Ticket items, I expect exclusive winter/christmas items and some are leaf ticket only.

Asking again - does the modern camper have any practical value over the vintage? I prefer the look of the vintage but would upgrade if it had benefits

-those stretch goals about eg '4 kiddy items in your campsite' - will those trigger automatically when you host someone needing those and it temporarily places the furniture, or do you have to place them yourself?

Do villagers of the same type need to be at the unveiling to get the maximum level increase? Or is it just those in attendance get the 5 bonus points?

You can expand the size of the camper, which you can pay off in a special "loan" menu (under "More") because it usually costs 30k at a minimum. (The second expansion is 100k.)

I'm just crafting a level 3 natural tent (after doing my level 1 across the styles), because I want to unlock the picnic set. But it goes higher than level 3? And what are tiers?

First tier goes up to level 3. Second tier goes up to level 5. Not sure about the one(s) after that.

ok i get it now. is there any benefit to expanding your camper? other than being able to put more stuff in it?

As far as I know, no, which is why I haven't started paying off my second upgrade. Not sure I'm into the camper in general.

checked the price for other rare items i have as well, i have one of each
miyama stag 15k
jewel beetle 25k
football fish 30k
tuna 50k (i had no idea i have this)

the second. the villagers attending get the 5 bonus points, but all villagers of the matching type get the max level increase

what would be nice is to have a system where if you need a certain item, you can see which one of your friends has it in their marketplace. like if you need a few squids and don't want to bother catching them, you have to scroll through your whole friend list to see if anyone has them for sale, AND when you go back it goes to the beginning of the list so you have to remember how far along the list you where. it would be much easier if you could filter your list by friends who have a certain item.
