It's 5 a.m. in Poland. I think we should expect something in the next 12 hours or it might be safe to assume CDP actually doesn't care.
I'm kind of shocked CDP is this tone deaf considering the general themes of Cyberpunk 2077. Which makes me worried Cyberpunk 2077 is going to terribly mishandle some of these themes.

It didn't really blow up until the response and all of the articles today, though. I can see it being entirely possible that their higher ups were not fully aware of what was going on.
I'm not expecting much from them but I do expect more sock puppets to heed the siren songs of the woodchipper
I want to believe they are just cynically co-opting a current social movement to raise awareness about something they are passionate about and a snarky tweet is their misguided idea of how best to do that.

No, I'm just setting different requirements, and they're not to your subjective standard. I am not going to judge the overall culture of a company as having a phobia for an entire type of people, just because of a handful of a tweets from a few employees. None of their statements represented outright hate to me, just insensitivity and clumsiness. I find it irresponsible how they run their twitter account and take feedback, but I'm not willfully choosing to ignore signs...I'm just not taking them to the same conclusion as you. It's fine if your doubts have been dispersed, but since mine haven't I can still frame them.

Or just be an empathetic human being and understand that mocking a hashtag about people literally losing their civil rights is probably a stupid thing to do. The hashtag was being used in a push back fight for trans folks to show to Trump that they won't be erased and CDP was using it as a joke, this doesn't look good for a company that has already gotten in trouble for their previous transphobic tweet.

There might be contractual stuff that makes it more complicated if they did a deal with CDP.

Yeah, I was already worried about Cyberpunk 2077 removing the "punk". And this shitty tweet only confirms to me that the people at CDPR won't be able to handle this topic in a respectful manner. Their non-apology reads like the passive-aggressive logic of a grumpy adolescent, told off for writing insults in the grime while washing the car, then suggesting that the only possible conclusion is that they never wash the car again if people are going to get upset.
Makes you wonder what the thinking behind that tweet was. Why even bother when you're operating a business account? What did they seem to think they'd get from it? Are they just deliberately trying to court the GG/Alt-right crowd? Surely they knew it wouldn't be received well.

You don't have to be 'invested' to see that a global media company, taking potshots at minorities currently being redefined out of existence in the US in order to promote their new computer game, is both wrong and not funny. Try rewording it using a hashtag for any other civil rights campaign to promote games. If Games Workshop used 'Black Lives Matter' to promote a shooter featuring its 'Black Templar' space marines it's not exactly hilarious and would be seriously inappropriate too. That doesn't mean social media needs to be humourless (GW recently promoted its new ork vehicle model kits based on real car and fighter plane press material/videos to a great response), the idea that 'we should only talk about games' as if transphobia is the only form of humour they know (and they've got form) is ridiculous.
