I mean, I'm not complaining... but the person is gonna mysteriously disappear.
Now I definitely think a good chunk of the movie is gonna be The Black Order taking the stones from the Avengers & Wakanda on Earth, with Thanos in space wrecking shit. The Guardians & Thor make it to Earth to fight off The Black Order, then they realize Thanos will go for the Power Stone on Xandar next and that's where the climactic battle will be.

Well they've did that big photo shoot a while ago. And I'm assuming they're counting the release of Iron Man as their "Day 1" which was May 2008. But who knows whether it'll be a week long celebration type thing, or whether they'll start celebrating at the start of the year and kick it up a gear as Infinity War approaches.
It was supposed to drop on Dec 4th online, then in theaters with The Last Jedi. Could come earlier now.
God knows how much I watched the trailer and the movie was kinda disappointing

Russos already delivered an Avengers movie better than Whedon's 2 Avengers.
I love AoU, but I was talking about the leaks and release of the trailer, that was what happened back then: the trailer leaked in potato quality, Marvel tweeted "Dammit, Hydra" and released it for good the next day.
And for the record, I think Infinity War will (definitely should) be even bigger and better than Avengers 1 & 2.
Winter Solider and Civil War were amazing, the film is in good hands.
The Russos are the best the MCU has to offer at present.

The AoU trailer had one hell of a direction, the music, the dark theme, the footage, it almost seemed like Ultron killing both captain America and Thor, but the movie made Ultron to a fucking comedian

Supposedly online the 4th (a Tuesday) and then in theaters with Star Wars. The Jurassic World 2 trailer is supposed to be later the same week as IW.
At this point, honestly, I want them to hold off. Both this and the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailers should be shown for the first time before Star Wars. My god, woudl that be an epic night at the cinema.
