Just binged S4 over the last 5 days or so and holy shit what a ride. I'm almost afraid to go back and rewatch the first season. How did this become so good. Mack's stuff was very emotional. Can Fitz get a break this season?
"It is an ever-present theme," Gregg says. "It's really touching to me how much the fans stay obsessed with the idea of when the Avengers are going to learn Coulson's alive. It's something that...I don't know, I find that so touching! I think the Avengers have moved on, they're busy.
"What I would say is the deal he made with Ghost Rider at the end of season four, that debt will come due at some point and I think it just raises the stakes on everything going forward," Gregg said.
"Look, this is not going to come as a surprise to anyone that's ever seen a 100th episode, that there will be a significant event. That's all I can tell you. They gotta get home from space!"
This is interesting. It's a tease of something happening in the premiere. And it has me very excited if it means what I think it means.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Mega Buzz: An Important Element You Thought Was Gone Returns
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is getting a pretty awesome makeover this year, given that almost all of its characters have been mysteriously transported onto a deadly spaceship. The how's and why's of this new dilemma will be answered in the premiere, but the big thing we're talking about will be the return of a major element from Season 4.
Something you probably thought we'd left in the rearview after Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team defeated Aida (Mallory Jansen) will make its return in the second hour of the premiere, and it plays an integral role in explaining the biggest questions of the season — what the heck happened and why are the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. involved?
This surprising return is made possible by a new character named Deke (Jeff Ward), so we encourage you to keep your eye on him as the season progresses. Something tells us he's either going to be the team's saving grace or the cause of their demise.
Please bethe Framework.
We still have Vijay in his cocoon at the bottom of the sea and the mad Russian loose as well among the unresolved Season 4 questions, no?
Yeah, those are the two specific S4 threads that were left open.We still have Vijay in his cocoon at the bottom of the sea and the mad Russian loose as well among the unresolved Season 4 questions, no?

Are the Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. actually in space or just another Framework? — Marcus
I can confirm that Team S.H.I.E.L.D. is definitely in space, but the Framework will come back into play in a very surprising (and revealing) way soon.
And Blizzard, and Graviton, and Blackout and etc.
Lots of open threads in the series.
Coulson has been in the framework this whole time.
The framework wasn't an advanced virtual reality, it was an actual parallel dimension and the team will discover another way in, or something like that.
Thor is already out so I doubt they'd do any tie-ins, although it'd probably be easier to reference Thor than BP at this point... unless they do something with Vibranium.Since there were very obvious tie-ins to Doctor Strange last season, I wonder what they'll do with Thor or Black Panther.
Nah. Jeph Loeb talked about Inhumans and AoS crossing over eventually but seeing how everything have gone since before Inhumans aired, I think any references to that show is dead in the air.I didn't watch the inhumans. This won't tie in with that will it?

Well, Ragnarok was filmed in Australia, so that'd make scheduling quite difficult.I'd love to see what Sif if up to, though if they couldn't schedule around her for the movie I doubt they'd be able to for a TV guest appearance. Like - Hey, Sif, what are you doing in this derelict storage room on this abandoned spaceship? Looks like you've had a rough year!
As much as id love that i dont think i could take seeing Mack hear a newly formed Tripp go "Wheres Hope?"
Needs more Nicolas Cage.

"COULSON AND THE TEAM ARE LOST IN SPACE, ON THE TWO-HOUR SEASON PREMIERE OF ABC'S 'MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.'
"Orientation (Part One)"/"Orientation (Part Two)" – Coulson and the team find themselves stranded on a mysterious ship in outer space, and that's just the beginning of the nightmare to come, when "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns for its highly anticipated fifth season with a special two-hour premiere, FRIDAY, DEC. 1 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.
Now it feels like home.
We are back for the next two weeks. Then the show goes on break lol.So two questions:
There is no any break for this season, right?
Also, will this season end before IW?
