raza on curve makes things pretty onesided tho, don't you think? i can't think of any one 'have it on curve and win the game' that matters more than like, classic MC
I only had to craft 2 epics and 2 rares.
What mulligans are you going for? I'm choosing duskbreaker for aggro and trying to start with low mana minions in general.
On turn 8 my Kingsbane is at least a 6/3 with lifesteal. My opponent has to deal with taking that to the face every turn and dealing with a bunch of free 4/4 spiders.
Okay yeah it works nicely, from 15 to 10 with only one loss.
Spiteful Summoner gotta stop giving me C'Thun though :(
haha yeah i haven't dumped the dust yet but i've been pretty admient here that that shit was going to be disgusting, glad it's working for you as i know you're pretty damn legit on wild ladder

we're talking about a deck w/ 36 points of burst damage. It can take a couple kingsbane hits.
I'm actually 1 win, 5 losses with the priest deck now. Anyone want to spectate me and see what I might be doing wrong?

Well I feel dirty. Mage is at 4 health with Ice Block up and they're taking 2 fatigue damage. My lowest attack minion is 4 so I just throw out Spiteful Summoner hoping for anything that will save me, pulls Free From Amber which Summons Al'Akir to set them at 1 health and they die to fatigue.
So I bought 7 card packs just out of nowhere, something I've always stated that I would never do since I try to stay as f2p as possible. But I was just sitting there eating my sandwich that cost me 10 bucks and I was like "ehhh... why not? I've already spent money on food thats about to be gone".
Really wish I wouldn't have bought these packs though. I got 2 legendary and 6 epics....wtf.

I tried the deck and lost back to back to rogues at rank 12.
I'm 3 win, 7 losses in ranked, even using that mulligan chart. The 7 losses were in a row. Also, 7 games were 8-14 minutes, so I'm not ending it early enough.
I'm either in a bad meta or piloting it horribly, and I welcome advice. :P I noticed 5/10 opponents were mage (quest, freeze, OTK, elemental, or some combination).
On a different note, I tried another dungeon run. With rogue, I ended up with 10 copies of Aya Blackpaw, 5 jade spirits, and the +1/+1 treasure. Despite playing so many dungeon runs already, I think I saw THREE new bosses this time. Bad AI on the final boss (Xol) probably helped save me. I also beat the whole thing which made me happy with SO MUCH JADE.
The final pack literally offered me 3x Aya Blackpaw, lol.
I really wish Stonehill was rotating out in 4 months.

The cube warlock looks really fun.
But then I realize 2x cube, 2x voiddaddy are epics, and then I would need the warlock weapon and spirtbringer umbra...nope.
Still need Corridor Creepers too which are another dust dump. Crafting epics feels so fucking bad.

creeper is a hardcore nerf target tho i would imagine if we all abuse it it'll be changed to your minions, thats what i thought it was anyway
Corridor Creeper is the safest craft in the set. If it doesn't get nerfed it'll be a staple in many decks until rotation.
Worst thing about the Spiteful Summoner Dragon Priest deck is having to go all the way to fatigue every single game against warlock. It's a pretty guaranteed win because you're a deck with two mind controls in a fatigue matchup, but it takes so damn long.
played some of this at rank 22 today, the ladder system is fair and balanced
is murmuring elemental the only new card i even need to consider? deck is still nasty af. but i dont have many kobolds cards yet so i haven't done anything yet i guess. i'm not even sure where i'd put it though, def not more than one

i had a shaman quest for the day and it was my only active deck haha, didn't feel like pulling out deck tracker to pull out my wild murloc spam haha
tfw corridor creeper is in the opening hand when playing as wild dude pally ;)
so over about 1500ish games tracked in deck tracker, (i am mostly wild player), priest has by far my highest opponent usage rate, at 16%. no other class has above 12% (warlock and rogue both at lowest, at 9%)
again , that's classes i've faced, not played as.

I don't think it's a deck that has a clock on it, outside of stabilizing against aggro and finishing them before they finish you with burn. Mind Control is one of the greediest cards in the entire game, and running two of them gives you plenty of breathing room to take it all the way to fatigue if you need to as long as they aren't threatening leathal.
That said, as a deck with almost no proactive cards, you need to be assertive enough on board to make them have to respond to you and not you responding to them. You don't need to worry about killing them, just make them worried enough about dieing that they can't spend any time killing you.
It kinda feels like playing a arena deck.

I didn't get one yesterday on PC. Then after a few hrs tried mobile and nothing either. Then I changed the language on mobile and got the quest.
That was all before the update. Today after updating the game I got the quest without a problem.
I'm mad I crafted Aluneth. 15 games and I haven't even had a chance to play it. Had to check my deck to make sure I'd put it in there.
So I just re-rolled a quest I had been holding onto since before the patch hit and soon as I did I had a full quest log. Seems I found my problem. Pretty frustrating though. Thanks!
Were my first two crafts yesterday from this expansion because I pulled none out of packs.
I need Umbra and the weapon, got 2 cubes from packs, already crafted 2 voidlords.
Not sure if I wanted to craft umbra and the weapon tho

yeah cube warlock deck looks legit to me actually, not just fun. I have opened umbra and prince before and I just crafted voidlords which are just solid anyway, only need the weapon which I have on the wrong account sadly. I used a lot of dust this expansion since all the cards I want are epics. I'm not sure if you need the weapon since it can get just countered if the deck becomes popular and does nothing then. rest of the deck functions fine. I don't know yet.
Good epics make the game too expensive, this year they printed so many of them. They used to be 95 percent joke cards. Epics just feel bad to craft too.
The deck loses no cards to rotation so it's not a bad investment. I think it has potential. Not only you make insane board, you can setup OTKs with cubes and twisting nether. You have a decent chance against some priest decks.

May regret this but I just crafted Fandral after all this time given my free KaC weapon was Twig. Don't have Malfurion DK but I've subbed in Lich King for him. That now gives me the following decent decks at the moment:
- Jade Druid
- Dragon Priest
- Handbuff Paladin
- Spell Hunter
- Zoolock
- Tempo Mage
I considered Grumble for a Elemental Shaman deck but not convinced it has legs and I don't play Rogue so Kingsbane etc. are unnecessary.

I love how you can just armor out of priest's damage range. They are capped at 36 to 40 damage in one turn and that's almost their entire damage capability unless they drew the combo naturally and didn't play shit before.
when i have enough decks to have fun until the next exp. sometimes it never happens sometimes its after a month.
Are there any resources to figure out what the "high value" cards are to craft? Other than just looking at decklists and figuring it out. A lot of the time, I will just skip over a decklist if the dust value is too high, but a lot of these decks share the same high value cards (i.e. came across a lot of lists for Hunter and Pally recently that have Leeroy). If I craft 1 card, it might open up a lot of decks to be <1000 dust, for example.
you could just craft an archetype
ie pirates, murlocs, etc, packages like that can be thrown into lots of decks and even if it isn't super ideal can still do work. idk if theres been any real good examples since jades tho.....cards seem to be more scattered about lately but make creeper
