I think it might have been in reference to amount of countries repped but maybe I misread even that.

I apologize. Disregard.

Just got a steam link from the steam sale in. They were like $5 during that sale. Tried it out and it confirmed my home network's wireless router is ass. It does a network test when you link to your PC and mine came back 79% and upon trying it out wireless it had noticeable input delay offline. No frame drops but thats without me pushing it on anything high end so no promises. At some point I guess i should upgrade that router to one with better multiband streaming sorta stuff. Its not severe but its noticeable in fighitng games...adds a frame maybe two of input delay. Playable for certain but it feels like online play when offline when it does that to me. My house is one that'd be a bitch to crawl space and wire fish to where the link is gonna be placed and since I got one for the tv but one for the arcade I really dont wanna start that fishing shit since it'd end up with me having to finalize where I'm putting my arcade and fishing line to that spot. Its especially pointless considering it may end up upstairs. So yeah...new router I guess will be something I'll try to deal with after tax season or something.

I really don't wanna get around to it though...I got a tablet, several 3ds, 6 game consoles, 2 pc's, 2 phones, a steam link, a few roku...just a whole shitload of stuff on that router currently and changing the settings on all those things would just be a pain. The new irritants of being a gamer. Network changes and changing passwords on stuff afterwards.

Still, it'd be pretty baller to get that thing up and running inside the arcade cabinet using retroarch inside of steam. That'd pretty much nail down my raspberry Pi stuff for the bulk and anything too meaty for it could run on the PC like Taito Type X stuff or N64/ PS2 stuff. The addition of an ever growing steam library and all its great shmups and fighters is a big perk as well. No hurry though. I need to have enough time to play to really urge me to get busy on this lol. Today was my last day off till next year. I'll get around to it all eventually though. It'll be cool to see Arcana Heart Six Stars, Golden Fantasia, and Ghost Blade HD all on an arcade.

Lol that Guilty Gear player is Buppa, who used to be one of the Godhead Ky players back in the AC/AC+ days.

I'm actually disappointed that the kid got 6 games. That means Buppa's belly has gotten super-soft or the kid's just damned good. Either way, that's far from definitive and worth bragging about.

Welp Disney bought Fox and it officially gives them Xmen and Fantastic Four. Plus it gave em FX, FXX, Nat Geo and all the television rights too. $52.4 billion...guess its time to start looking forward to that MVCI season 2 news sometime. Here's hoping they start power porting over most of the UMVC3 roster on top of any rumored additions. I wouldn't hold out hope for Netflix folks though...they wanna compete with Netflix now with their own service in 2019 using all these libraries. That means its sketchy if we'll get Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Punisher, Jessica Jones, or any of the Netflix marvel folks. DD and Punisher losin their spots again it seems if thats true. Shame...DD would make a great followup to the old Yatterman-1 stuff.

Anyhow rejoice. Mutants and FF folks can return.

How are the Brooks converters? I'm trying to decide if I should buy one or just upgrade sticks.

I wonder if people are treating Chris G like an asshole because he says racist, dumb shit unapologetically?

*thinkingemoji*
I understand regular people doing this, but as an event runner, if you have something against what he said, then ban him from your event. Inviting him only to treat him like shit would only reflect badly on your event/organization!

bizarre that Sega never bothered to release VF5 on PC considering the arcade game ran natively on Windows

For those that don't remember it CEREBRAWL is an independent tag fighting game project with assist moves being developed by a lot of veteran folks from all over who went independent. Disney, Harmonix...just good folks.

And Apparently last week they did a special vid stating that they will be doing a Kickstarter campaign. Here's the vid that goes into what they've been doing. They're very candid and upfront and talk about how things have been going the past 3 years and the real challenges behind their project. Very reminescent to the Skullgirls talks about developing an independent fighting game.

Since its been awhile I figured I'd plop down this old vid of there's about their assist system that lets you call 1 of 3 moves in, lets you call in the tag partner doin rapid fire attacks, or lets you control the assist itself for a few seconds before automatically having you take control of the original character again.

Feel free to follow along at any of their sites. They got a fairly active Twitch and Twitter for an indy project. Its got a lot of dev time ahead of it but shows a lot of great promise so far so if you'd like to follow along here you go. Thought some of you might enjoy this.

Music almost gives me a JSRF vibe at times and thats awesome.
Here. Enjoy the track Cauldron Rave on Soundcloud

I really dig their art. They remind me of something between graffiti inspired things, skullgirls, and the Gorillaz or something. Just very stylish and expressive. Great snappiness and weight to their animations too. I feel for them having to scale down and go through kickstarter so they can finish...otherwise they wouldn't finish till 2025 and risk things like goin broke, starving and all those other horrible things that face independent folks out there. Skullgirls went through all this same stuff too. Some folks are doin a lot of commission work, and other stuff to make rent just to keep workin on this. Skullgirls managed to make it through that though so I'm hopeful for this team's outlook here.

I hope their project picks up with the kickstarter campaign and succeeds. They say they'll be doin this whole month behind the scenes prepping the kickstarter. You can feel their love of this project and you can tell it hurts to admit what they're up against. They're damn certain hard workers though and their work is quality so I'll definitely support them. Here's hoping they drum up some good attention for this.

Question about SFV:AE: If I only own SFV and none of the seasons will I still get AE for free plus the season's characters?

Occassionally late at night at work I get bored and browse the PC enterbrain fighter maker lists of games made. There are tons of obscure fighters I've never heard of from the old fighter maker folks and many aren't worth a second glance but occassionally you find something pretty good.

Here's one I found out about recently called Axel City. This vid has an expansion called Thien Ron which brought the already impressive roster up to 33. It has an 80's gritty anime look to it and its got a complete story mode, soundtrack and is for all intents and purposes a very complete package. Looks fun. Check it out sometime if you can find it.

Another one I am still trying to find out more about is Second Heat. I dont know much about it but it looks very polished and clean for one of these obscure pc fighters so I'm gonna try to dig up something on it.
