It did, but it made using YouTube and embeddeded Twitter videos a mess. I had to click three times everytime I wanted to start a video of them and that was a bit much for just getting rid of annoying Autoplayvideos at Wikia.com

do you have any add-ons that could be removing cookies automatically?my lastpass does not stay logged in on this, anyone have a fix? or same issue
Not sure. I'll have to check. I think cookies are still on though :(do you have any add-ons that could be removing cookies automatically?
edit: i may have read this wrong
Thanks. Disable HTML5 Autoplay really amplifies webbrowsing again for me :D
This is probably not a solution you really want, but my best advice is to ditch Lastpass in favor of something else. The FF add-on has been garbage for a while now and moving to web-ext didn't really help at all.my lastpass does not stay logged in on this, anyone have a fix? or same issue

Also as an aside, they still don't have autofill for Android O working unless you are using their beta client, which is just another reason to move on.
Only downside to migrating to something else is that it also happens that lastpass' database export is often bugged and can't handle some special characters right. I managed to work around the bug, left my lifetime sub behind and moved to bitwarden.
alright I can replicate random 30FPS drops on VSyncTester, as well as on Firefox 56. Can anyone else try VsyncTester?Does anyone else get framedrops in 60FPS Youtube videos? It's especially noticeable when I have both my monitors enabled instead of just one. I don't remember this happening in earlier Firefox versions.
Youtube's Stats for Nerds doesn't count any framedrops, which makes it seem as though Firefox is presenting video frames out of sync with my monitor.
Edit: Test video (Seizure warning, intense flickering). Firefox fails to display half the frames within a couple seconds, while Edge can maintain 60FPS throughout.
When you trust a site, make sure the little clock thing in the same box as TRUSTED is faded rather than opaque. The clock is how you allow temporary permissions now.Does this version of noscript not save settings or something. Everytime I restart the browser I have to press trusted to websites I visit a lot, like this one...
Most likely some tab you have open is slowing things down (probably due to ads or some such nonsense). If you go to the about:performance page, it should be pretty obvious which one is the culprit.FF57 is driving me nuts!! It randomly wont load pages. It will just keep showing the loading animation, until like 2 minutes later everything finally starts working again. It's also slower then ever. It keeps getting worse by the day. Never had these issues until the update. Someone please help before I leave FF for good. Any suggestions?
You're right. I was definitely having some problems before though.
Exact same issue for me, on Windows 10. Happens on Tweetdeck too.Having some funky issues with FF
- twitter media does not play on era, I have to click it to go to twitter and then watch vid
This has happened to me after Firefox has given me a warning that a script on some tab is fucking up. The problem is solved by restarting FF.FF57 is driving me nuts!! It randomly wont load pages. Like I said above, typically the "about: performance" page can identify which tab is the problem one. This has happened to me after Firefox has given me a warning that a script on some tab is fucking up. The problem is solved by restarting FF.
Same problem here. Windows 10, fully up to date.Exact same issue for me, on Windows 10. Happens on Tweetdeck too.
Just found how to fix it on Google :
Have they fixed the crazy acceleration of scrolling? That's the one reason I switched back to Chrome after trying it. I just can't browse the web at my own pace; four of five finger swipes down and FF jumps to the bottom of the page. It's insane.
Oh so FF57 and Quantum are two different things? So when I tried FF57 back in november, it did not have the Quantum upgrade? They are changing the scrolling engine as part of the Quantum upgrade. It's not in the current stable yet though.

Cool. Good to know. I'll keep an eye on FF's development then. I'd love to switch back to it.It's multiple parts that all interconnect. You got some of the parts in FF57.

Are there any Firefox Quantum extensions that mimic Tab Mix Plus? (especially modifying which tab get focused after closing a tab). I'm suffering without this mod.
Sadly, this thing is super annoying to use. Firefox will always switch to the tab to the right of the tab you closed, or the last tab if there is no tab to the right. At least that's how I think it works. This behavior cannot be overridden, and so what this extension does is switch tabs again after Firfox has made the first switch, making the wrong tab briefly appear on the screen.
Read that in the review comments section and I initially did notice tab behavior, but I think my brain was subsequently able to ignore the quick flash of the incorrect page. It's less irritating now. Having the ability to re-focus of sibling tabs was too good to pass up.Sadly, this thing is super annoying to use. Maybe you can deal with it, but I found this extension unusable and went back to Firefox's default broken behavior, even though it's complete garbage.
