I think the Giftbot is weird, I was lucky in the first 2 days, and now I got nothing lol. A user said that won 30 games and others 0.
Is something with the algorithm or just pure chance?
I have to imagine anyone winning 30 times is just gunning for anything they can get their hands on while people who have won significantly less times (or not at all) are being more judicious about their selections.
Luck does play into it, but I don't think it's the primary factor in a discrepancy like that.
People complaining that they aren't winning anything anymore after already winning multiple games. Madness.

Just pure chance. Some of us just have absolutely none at all despite 40/50+ tries.
And it's not like I aim for big AAA games, Hellblade is the fancier name on my list, the rest is mostly indie games that are several years old, thus shouldn't be particularly sought after much.
There are probably a lot of people who missed the first day, due to not visiting the site that often, or just missing it. That will decrease everyone's odds now.

I'm currently hitting on less than one percent. I was here since the first day of the giveaways and out of 124 attempts I won 4 gifts, one of which was a duplicate/already redeemed. Generally trying for stuff I want to play and not just to add to my Steam library. Not complaining though as I at least won something. That's more than most.

I dunno, I just like the combination of ATB with the stacking system
Creating parties to counter the ones you run into through different stacks is fun
Plus the game is just...really comforting. The art direction and music are so pretty and the character lovable. Its like what if Nomura was asked to make something cute.
