Seriously, so much hype! I just hope it does actually happen soon...
All the more reason they should (hopefully) just make a new game.Star Fox Zero without gamepad controls seems like a way bigger undertaking than could possibly be worth the trouble
gamepad controls are the only reason that game ever existed
The Switch preview, our first look at Nintendo's next console, was announced the night before the reveal. 13.5 hours before they dropped a whole new console so I guess that also was pretty significant.Just messing with ya.
But for a Direct this significant, I expect 3 days notice, 2 minimum.
I don't think it's wrong for people to expect more Wii U titles to make it over. A few already have and it makes sense from Nintendo's POV to try to produce more profits off of essentially completed titles.Just because some random person says some random game is coming to Switch doesn't make it a rumor. At this point, I think the whole darn Wii U library has been listed in a rumor as a potential Switch release that will be shown at a Direct.

lmaoYo, I just saw on Twitter that TANK! TANK! TANK! is getting remastered for Switch. Legit?
Agreed fully.Just because some random person says some random game is coming to Switch doesn't make it a rumor. At this point, I think the whole darn Wii U library has been listed in a rumor as a potential Switch release that will be shown at a Direct.

You also have direct teases in some cases like that Wonderful 101 art from Platinum.
That said, I don't think every first party Wii U game will make it over... but a few more, sure.
GotY 2018 right there.Yo, I just saw on Twitter that TANK! TANK! TANK! is getting remastered for Switch. Legit?

So... to make myself into a Nintendo rumor guy, what do I need to do? Is Twitter viable or should I start by making 5-10 minute Youtube videos about something that can be summed up in half a sentence?
1.Prime 4
2.Smash 4
3.Fire Emblem Switch
4.Pokemon Switch
5.Prime Trilogy Remaster

You forgot the most important thing; telling people to like, comment, and subscribe at the end of the video!
Make sure you grab some fake Pokemon fan art from Deviantart for your video thumbnail!So... to make myself into a Nintendo rumor guy, what do I need to do? Is Twitter viable or should I start by making 5-10 minute Youtube videos about something that can be summed up in half a sentence?
I would be totally down for that. Every wii u exclusive deserves a second life
Glad I'm not alone in thinking this. I imagine stuff like Kid Icarus and Luigi's Mansion 2 would look plenty good on Switch also. I'd love to see a 3DS port to Switch line.I personally don't think so. They made need to touch up some of the environmental textures but I think it really wouldn't be too hard to remake it in HD.
No but seriously guys, I've heard Tantalus has been hard at work on a remaster for the Switch, apparently it's one a lot of people have been asking for. The boxart has leaked, quote to reveal:

All that matters to me is if Retro's game will be there or not.

*likes*Take it with a grain of salt, but my sources tell me we're getting 3DS remakes of the Zelda CD-i games.

They are not announcing the day before, I can see them even announcing early then 2 days before

Seems like there's not been much out of them since November, when they made a cryptic tweet saying "Yes!"I'm shocked we've heard nothing else from Tantalus on Switch since Sonic Mania and the sadly poorly received RiME port. Panic Button really ate their lunch and took over their "Nintendo AAA port house" title from their Wii U days.
I have a leak out of my ass too: nVidia is porting all their Shield titles to the Switch, all 1080p/60fps.
That phase typically ends with a thread lock.Well, I think we are past the hype stage.
We're now fully on the "let's to crazy with made up rumors" phase
