I dont think it is that great personally. Aggro Druid can do more in fewer turns, and Druid has recovery options too if the initial face smash fails

I faced this one in my last game, he went face with kill command and not trading. His mistake gave me lethal.

Face hunter is face hunter, it has a lot of good opening hands for a quick win. It's always going to be streaky just on the weight of probabilities.

Shaman homebrew is hardmode for homebrewing. Control warrior is easier to find a winning deck. It seems weird to do a hard quit off that. I'm sure MTG had times when you couldn't homebrew anything for certain underpowered colors.

It does sound like you need a break in any case. I certainly did during Secret Paladin and Quest Rogue metas. If you think you have to dust your whole collection to do it, I guess that's up to you.

It's a last straw type of situation. I won't dust everything because it's way too much of a hassle but I hope I'll either quit naturally or otherwise get out of this self-poisoning circle of expecting things from the game that it will never give. Maybe I'll just accept it for what it is one day.

why everyone suddenly BM all fucking time on ladder

why no emote is not a thing already

I started seeing constant BM emoting a long time ago.

One day I was watching Muzzy play and he made a practice of "squelching on curve". I figured if a good ladder player like Muzzy thinks it is a good idea then I would do it too.

I would love auto-squelch, but at this point squelching is so instinctual for me it doesn't matter.

Seeing alot of evole shaman today after savjz's run with it yesterday.

I dont think I could play that deck savjz was playing, he has the big card knowledge and knows exactly what kind or drop he's rolling for with the evolve and makes super smart descisions about playing certain cards at a certain time, It does look a super fun deck to play though

Squelching when you're competitive is an interesting question. It's a balance between the likelihood you get tilted by it and the likelihood you get any useful tells from it.

I am firmly in the squelch camp, the last thing I need when I play a stupid move is some guy going "wow" to remind me just what a terrible player I am!

I thinking squelching would tilt me less and win me more games, but I wouldn't want to give up the joy of counter BM when you turn a game around.

I dont emote unless someone emotes first. If they emote I rarely squelch. I am happy to talk politely back and forth. If someone emotes alot I just emote more back at them. If they wont stop I won't, and I won't stop cause I am weird. My scorched-earth policy usually wins out as I will outlast any asshole just to see when they stop.

What a wonderful meta. Who draws the most corridor creepers first wins.

And people thought UI was bad card design.

I always feel hesitant to do it because there are other people who get really bothered by it so I usually just shut up. on this case I thought I could help you a bit, Jade/taunt druid became really complicated with the spellstone and with branching paths, those 2 cards alone in combinations with the other cards already present have some very complex decision making

wtf is this brawl? first game he played a 2 drop that casted nourish and gave him a huge tempo lead. of course I lost. the next game I played against a warlock who ultimate infested my face on turn 2. fuck this brawl, I want my pack and be done with it.

edit: I tried 5 times already. I just want to win one time. Urgh

I never knew the Warrior Spellstone works with N'Zoth's First Mate and Upgrade. I guess I will fiddle around with that combo next sometime

Was anyone else gifted 3 K&C packs through the Battle.net app? I logged in and didn't have any packs waiting for me.

*Edit*
Nvm. Got 'em. It was just very slow compared to how it use to be.

I'm all for some advice, pointers, tips & tricks!

And yeah, its taking time to adapt to Jade in the current meta but I'm having fun. On the other side of the spectrum, I have some easier to manage Paladin and Hunter Aggro decks for ladder climbing.

Yeah I'm the same way sometimes. I actually don't think I've ever squelched. Must be the fighting game player in me.

so I'm going to go all tryhard and really ladder this season/next season. I want to track win rates and everything for real. what's the best tracker? I use Innkeeper for deck tracking, but I want more stats in-game.

That's the reality of it pretty much. Although I lie, I got one rare that I didn't have before.

edit: in good news department, there's a new shaman aggro deck in town. It has two KaC cards in it: Dire Mole and Corridor Creeper. The newest shaman card is from MSG.

I've been finding a lot of these on casual today..

since I've been playing big filthy priest, I usually erase their board before they get any chance at bloodlust

I've been thinking about buying a bunch of classic packs lately since I'm short on epics to try a bunch of fun decks.

I think I'm somewhere around 30 something to my KnC pity times. Once I get my next legendary, it's saving time.

I've seen a lot of wild aggro paladins run Dinosize which is weird considering you don't see it in standard. Having a 8 mana card just doesn't make sense to me for a deck like that. Maybe the better control tools for wild requires it, but I have my doubts.

Instead of Leeroy, Tirion, Vinecleaver, Dr boom, Ragnaros, Val'neer, Spikeridge Steed, Blessing of Kings, they run Dinosize. Makes no sense.

I really doubt any paladin list running dinosize would be considered aggro. Probably midrange. Aggro paladin cannot afford to play an 8 mana card like that.

dow to just priest after a sweet double deathrattle run w/ rogue that had half a dozen jade summoners. A boss once brawled leaving me w/ 60 power on board.

If there's one thing that surprises me, it's not BMing by randoms, questionable card design, or anything like that. Rather it's the constant impression I have reading this thread (and the discord) that very few of you are having any fun. This game is not perfect, though the IP and production values (along with the amount of public support and almost celebrity-status of high-profile Blizzard staff like Brode) really make it stand out. I cycle through a few different games; right now I'm playing a lot of Shadowverse since we have a new expansion and class. The meta in Shadowverse is not as balanced as Hearthstone, but I hear less negativity about the game in general despite this. Sometimes I play Elder Scrolls, though the community and support it receives is anemic compared to HS, and again, it seems like people just accept the game for what it is and enjoy it. I've spent the least amount of time with Eternal, probably because of its production values, but the community is very, very positive about the game.

So, my questions is this: if you guys who aren't having fun are so miserable, why do you keep giving this game your money and (more importantly) your time? I'll never reach Legend, not because I'm not skilled enough (though I'm probably not), but just because grinding X hours a day with a meta deck is no fun. That's fine. I still keep coming back, but man...
