I assume that the spoiler concern is more in reference to
Rey and Kylo fighting together with Snoke cut in half
as opposed to shirtless Kylo.

That falcon leak looks pretty decent
Shame the force awakens falcon is most likely retired, was intending to buy one

I'm waiting until the 60th anniversary set is a freebie then I'll buy ninjago city

Got the UCS Tie fighter. It doesn't look that fun to put together but I hope I'm wrong. I'm sure it'll look good.

Of all of the UCS I'm missing now is the X-Wing, Star Destroyer, Imperial Ship and Snow Speeder. With all of them apart from the Speeder OOP, I guess I'll just have to get that next.

Are any of these older UCS sets making a comeback? I really want the X-Wing to go with the Tie.

It's flagged as retired on S@H europe. I hope you can find it for a decent price still. I payed full price for it on Force Friday. I was stupidly hyped, as few months later I could find it well below full price.

Looks like a reddit post shows off some of the upcoming Han Solo movie sets. Falcon looking ship included (I guess before it became a piece of junk)?

Shouldn't it be a known fact by now that there's no point in paying scalper prices for original trilogy major ships? Everything will return, eventually. It's not like the TFA Falcon was the last there will ever be. How many A-Wings and Snow Speeders have we gotten the last five years? I've been picking up the OT ships recently for not a lot of money. The only one that hasn't been released recently is the Slave One and I'm pretty sure we'll see one within six months of the UCS being discontinued.

If anyone wants any of the newly released city, friends, disney, elves, creator, junior sets. Walmart has them 20% off online. US Buyers, not sure about anywhere else.

Ventured out into the cold to check out some of the new 2018 sets (picked up the Lex Luthor Mech Takedown set, gotta have that Cheetah), and found some post-Christmas LEGO sales at brick-n-mortar Walmart and Target stores. Walmart seems to be at just 25% off on a variety of sets right now (example: TFA Millennium Falcon going for $89, down from $120) but Target seems to be going 30-50% off on select sets from a variety of groups. I picked up the Two-Face Double Demoliton set for $29.98.

So I was vacationing at Disneyland over the holidays and decided on a whim to check out the Lego store in Downtown Disney.

"You guys wouldn't happen to have the UCS Millennium Falcon in stock, would you?"
"Yes, we do!"
:|

I get the OK from the wife, but I decide not to get it since we were already on a budget for our vacation and I didn't feel like lugging the giant box back to the parking garage. We agreed that if by the end of our stay they still had it in stock, we'd get it....and as luck would have it, they did! Funny enough, there was another couple carrying one out of Downtown Disney as we were heading back in.

I started it New Year's Day but had to pause after bag 10 for a couple days. I love Lego ships so much, this one is a piece of art. So much thought went into its design and all the little touches. If I have any complaints it's similar to the Silent Mary in being a little delicate to handle. There aren't a lot of safe places to hold it that won't cause something to pop off. I can't see this as a play set but strangely enough they added some play areas like the dojo.

Anyways that's such a small nitpick for me that's just going to display it proudly. I really need to find a better way to display these ships now that I have like 4. My wall shelves don't work because of height. I need something with extra space too for hopefully future releases and *crosses fingers* a Black Pearl or Imperial Flag Ship re-release.

DB is exceptional. Makes me want to get more ships like Sea Cow etc.

Can I say that as a Father to a child who adores Ninjago, from owning DVDs, pyjamas, bedsheets, toys, books, listening to The Fold on an endless loop while I support and enjoy these things with him (in a parental kind of way) that the "new" Ninjago movie is possibly the most disappointing and half baked movie there could have possibly been. He did not like it at all, not the live cat being the enemy, to the lack of Ninjago-esque things like Ninja spinning in circles. There was just so little to like.

Sorry rant over.

We got really great Lego sets out of it though.

Yea these Lego movies have been on a gradual downswing with each one. They are playing up the real life connection a bi too much, the pew pew noises are really grating at this point. I did laugh at the "work on your spinjitsu" joke though. Overall if I was a longtime fan of the show I probably would have been pretty upset at throwing all those years of built up story out the door for a rushed condensed reboot.

I haven't seen the Ninjago one yet BUT, i cannot agree with them being on a downward spiral with The Lego Batman movie exceeding the first Lego movie imo. I may be in the minority but i found TLBM to be a true love letter to especially Batman fans in a way that the medium has never seen before.

I'm a huge Batman fan and while I appreciate the fan service to Batman fans the movie as a whole was a step down from TLM. It was definitely skewed more towards kids then TLM and maybe that's why I found some of the humor more cringeworthy but quite a bit of the dialogue was just unnecessarily bad.

Is it okay to ask for a link or an image of said (LEGO Solo) leak on this forum?

As for the above conversation about The LEGO Ninjago Movie, it was just really average. It is the very definition of a 5/10 film, and I honestly forgot about 80% of the film not long after I walked out of the cinema.

For reference, I would give The LEGO Movie a 9, and The LEGO Batman Movie a high 7.

Anyhoo, I have only just finished the Creator Space Shuttle!

Anyone bought used sets from Amazon Warehouse before? Was considering Assembly Square but not sure what it's like to buy a used set.

Edit: Oh it seems maybe a poster above me did :P

I ordered a Saturn V from there that's supposed to arrive tomorrow. It was really cheap ($72), and the description said that only the packaging is damaged, but then they said that they were out of stock and delayed shipment by about a week. So obviously the one I'm getting isn't the one they originally described, and I'm a bit worried.

I don't know if it's worth the stress for a small savings, but $72 Saturn V seems like a good enough deal that I'm going through with it.

I've bought warehouse items before without issue, but even "used" items often say the condition of the item will be like new, but with packaging missing or damaged. Amazon support has always been good to me; I figure if I get the set and there are items missing I shouldn't have too hard a time getting a refund/replacement.

Also, if that's the same Assembly Sq that's been there for the last week or so (approx $243), it would never let me check out. I'd add it my cart, then get an error saying the item was out of stock (even though the listing remained). I contacted Amazon and they just gave me $30 credit toward a new one.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Milano set seems to be going out of production, if it isn't already. None of the LEGO stores I checked had it in stock and I was only able to find one at a Target (which was the only one in the elarea with any left).
