Aww yeah, JWS just made my day, haha. I tweeted that Flash action figure at him and he replied and re-tweeted it. Seems like it is based on his show for sure.

That Lynda Carter Wonder Woman though.
Is that a John Wesley Shipp Flash? Looks like they're gonna put out at TV/Movie series.
Can't wait for those. Hoping for a Christopher Reeve Superman so I can have a retro Justice League.
Okay where is my Nightwing with nips costume then Mattel I deserve to be happy too.
I want a laundry day Dick Grayson.

Hey everyone I'm new to Era and forums in general and glad to see a thread about action figures. I was sent here by someone from the Figure thread and I should ask for a David about a Metal Build F91 and the pros and cons about it.

Welcome new person,

Sure you like robots but if you need any Harley Quinn figure advice I am here for you.

Does anyone here collect Power Ranger figures.

I'm looking to get some of the Legacy Zeo and In Space figures. Tomorrow i'm doing the rounds. GameStop, Walgreens, Walmart and Target.
I don't ever see them anymore and when I do it is usually mmpr or in space yellow.

Still trying to find mmpr red and black myself. Then maybe finding the other 2 ninja storm ones.

Any one interested in some loose Marvel Legends? Not really my thing anymore and looking to get rid of them. Mostly Spiderman related figures, some X-Men ladies and I think Winter soldier Black widow. Also have a bunch of build a fig pieces.

Do you have a pic or a list I could see?

Assuming the articulation is good I definitely want that John Wesley Shipp Flash figure. Can get that multiverse collection going!

I am so tempted towards getting a ONE:12 figure but they're just so outrageously out of my price range. I'll just have to wait for a night where I'm feeling really dangerous.

You start with one Hot Toys figure, you'll wind up wanting another. Of the nine HT figures I have, I only regret buying one.
I do have 19 Hot Toys pre-ordered with maybe only one that I may end up canceling.

Yeah... that may have been what happened to me. I like Star Wars and comics. That's a bad combination to try to avoid Hot Toys. I'm also trying to get all the droids from Star Wars, and I couldn't pass up Deluxe Old Luke with a porg.

I wasn't collecting back then but I'd be curious to see how big of an effect Iron Man and the renaissance of superhero films had on Hot Toys. Iron Man was one of the first Hot Toys I got, mainly because it was more action figure than doll, and they've certainly milked that franchise. I mean, I knew they were around before, and I knew Sideshow was making 1/6 Star Wars stuff, but I doubt I'd have even bought the OT stuff if not for the Marvel properties bringing me in.

I legit hate that I'm jumping on this bandwagon so late. But earlier this year I wasn't as much focused on collecting the actual figures as I was the Zords. Now I gotta play catch up lol.

I want the entire MMPR Line, ZEO line and In Space line. I know the Psycho Rangers are releasing this year.

The fact that a movie is scheduled for 2020 is making me hopefully that a GI Joe resurrection is potentially only about a year and a half away.

I don't think Hot Toys is that old -- early 2000s? So I imagine the superhero trend of movies has done wonders for them. You also have the resurgence of new Star Wars too that's only bolstering that now, I'm sure. I also got an Iron Man (Mk XVII) since that's the suit from Homecoming. I feel like I have to have an Iron Man haha

I finally opened one of my SH Figuarts Iron Mans(Iron Patriot). This thing makes the Hasbro ones feel like a happy meal toy. Which is good considering the price they cost vs Hasbro. But I don't regret going all in on the Marvel Figuarts. All of them are still boxed(except the one I just opened) because I have no space ATM.

Wait until you see how much it will cost. The Arcadia VF-0A, VF-0D, VF-0S were all 300$ + due to the size of these birds. A VF-0S premium finish version is going to cost at least 350.

Oh, I know how much they cost, which is why I have yet to buy one. I've danced around them more than any other figure family XD
One of my problems with them is that they have a plasticy look which makes them feel cheaper than what they cost so maybe a premium finish would alleviate that problem.

I have a decent amount of Figuarts stuff and I think that if you mixed the War Machine figure that Hasbro did for Civil War in with some Figuarts stuff noone would notice. Even the quality of the plastic on that figure is great. No rubbery joints.

This guy popped up today and my god.. I want him so much.

http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-036289&page=top

This year I hope to finally move house and I will be setting up some detolfs as soon as possible to house my growing collection.
In addition to that, I see Terra listed right below him... She's my favourite FF character aside from Balthier.
... and I am presently moving into an apartment and spent a ton of $$$ on furniture (and more soon on detolfs) so getting her seems highly unlikely for my pocketbook ;_;
... please make more Bring Arts, Squenix.

The premium finish ones just mean extra tampo printing. It's the same look as the normal valkyries, just with a lot more small details printed on.

figma Tracer looks great, I just wish they could have put in some more accessories, like effect parts or something.

Also, the bright orange and glossy white reminds me of how much I want a Chell figma.

Oh, really? That sucks :(

I was expecting something similar to the fortress.

Silly Yarbskoo, don't you know that you're supposed to purchase effect parts separately?

Did Play Arts Kai figures improve over the last couple of years? Because the last time I bought some they were super expensive, they changed the scale like three times, and the paint apps, especially on the faces, were terrible.

Guys i need help. I just found out about Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. Im in trouble. However there are some figs coming out in May and April that are only for people jn Japan. How can i make a friend in Japan to have them help me with japanese only exclusives from the tamashii figuarts ex-aid figures? Im thinking i could also help them with SDCC exclusives as well. Im just wondering where i could even start. Don't know anyone in Japan, and that collects figures for that matter.

You could just order exclusive figures from proxy sites that carry them like Big in Japan or Nippon-Yasan. Sometimes where exclusives are concerned, you'll have to pay for them at the time you place the order due to the limited nature, and you usually have to order them around the time pre-orders open because they don't usually last long, but there are always options for Japanese exclusive figures outside of having friends overseas. Also, BigBadToyStore in the US often carries Bandai exclusives.

I don't know if this is one of the ones you're looking for.
