As soon as I saw Kasius get on his knees in front of her, I knew his time was limited.
He never got on his knees, he moved in front of her, which also happened to be two steps down. But the result was the same, a shot clearly showing the reversal of power, with him looking up at her and begging her to stay.

Yeah I loved that scene with Kasius starting on top of the stairs but once he realizes he's losing the convo, he's at the bottom looking up at Sinara.

Funny coincidence, I was rewatching that episode and just got to that scene when I scrolled by your post.

It's a great thing, going through the first season to see just how far this show has come.

Killing both would be hella dumb
I mean, technically, I doubt they'd kill off both at the same time. It would be more like Fitz or Simmons would be die or be about to die and the other would sacrifice themselves in someway. I think they are basically all or nothing at this point. It would be wrong to have either one die and have the other survive just to sulk about it for the rest of the series.

I really don't like the idea of either of those two dying; feels unnecessarily cruel at this point.

IMO, I genuinely don't see the point in killing them.

What's this I hear about AoS coming back for a sixth season because Inhumass totally shit the bed? Is this true? Do my eyes and ears deceive me?!

Where you hearing this from?

I think like TV Guide and Deadlineare reporting that Inhumans is dead, but ABC is pleased with the direction of Agents of SHIELD, they think the product this year sounded like the showrunners' best yet, and ABC wants to see where it would go in a sixth season. But no decision has been made. Sounds like more hedging to keep it alive.

But we agree Coulson should definitely die soon, right?
This dude has already died before. Phil Coulson is immortal.

I think it's a combination of Inhumans being shit, AoS doing relatively well in its current slot and something to do with Disney's upcoming streaming service. Nothing concrete though.

Yeah it does seem a little too on the nose, plus its not really gonna fix the earths problems, especially since its teeming with roaches already.

Would also be strange for them to be part of a prophecy to save the future IN the future. Would make more sense to learn about what caused the earths destruction and go back and fix it. Of course then you get into alternate timelines etc. which makes things a little more complicated.

Flint fixing future earth would help leave the timeline in at least a decent-ish state since they can't unfuck the one they're currently in.

Just wrapped up my S1 - S4 rewatch. Aside from the fewer complete CG scenes (like the planes taking off, etc), the reduced budget actually hasn't been that noticeable, especially when you take into consideration Inhuman powers, Ghost Rider and, well, space this season.

I also realised that May hasn't had a damn break in ages, since being infected by a Ghost, and then turned into a robot but actually in the framework, waking up and dealing with AIDA, then being abducted. Give the woman a break, especially when you consider all this has happened in a relatively short time-frame.

Finally, I wonder if Coulson's deal with Ghost Rider will be resolved in this pod or the next one.

If they fix the past wouldn't they potentially be "killing" innocent people in the future? Or would Flint just be born on Earth with a regular family. I don't know how time works.

I think some mentioned that the Marvel version of time allows for those strange paradoxical issues, by basically treating everything as a parallel universe. So, they could bring Deke and Flint back in time, "fix" the future, and they'd still be alive in their present, because it's a parallel universe from the one they grew up in.
They could also wake up anyone sleeping for 70 years.

But this really means, the original AoS universe, is technically gone. They've now figured out a way to "write" AoS out of the main MCU!

Yep, time travel causes a new timeline the instant it happens(unless you are using super special tech like doom's time pad, but those are super dangerous and rare) since knowledge of the future causes it to happen, whereas the vagueness of prophecy results in causality. Due to a new dimension being created causality isn't an issue. Timelines are different than dimensions. 2099verse is a separate dimension, whereas the whatif where wolverine was king of the vampires was an alternate timeline.

I really doubt they're going to kill off Fitz or Simmons. It's what everyone would expect right now. And from what I can recall, AoS has never done the things people were expecting (characterwise).

Besides bring Ward back every season.

Yeah for all the discussion about Fitzsimmons going through so much, May has definitely not had a break. Her ex was also a blue Inhuman.

Holy shit they remembered gravitonium. S1 plot threads ahoy. Now where's Dethlok. S4 would have been perfect for him.
Flint is 300% going to repair earth and it's going to be ridiculous
Or Flint gets brought back in time and HE'S the Destroyer, not Daisy. We haven't had any proof that Daisy is the Destroyer aside from second-hand information. But if Daisy is involved, maybe she fights Flint and breaks the Earth?

OR maybe Graviton busts the Earth?

I'm so scared people are just going to die. People have been dying left and right the last few episodes and I think it's only a matter of time until its another main character.

Of course daisy didn't destroy earth lol. Either gravitonium did or the kree did.
My bet is whoever is behind that military woman who killed her 2 officers in cold blood when fitz escaped the 2nd time.
My bet is that it's the same guy who already frammed daisy for killing talbot ... i guess that's what happens when you can make "inhumans" -like powered killing robots

The gravitonium will give Flint the power boost he needs to put the Earth back together more or less though he's going to die in the effort.

Fitz will die and Gamma will be crushed (metaphorically) only for them to go back to the past where Fitz is still sleeping and wake him because paradoxes be damned.

What we'll be left with is an alternate future that is saved though it won't really mean a damn to the folks back in the past who will be trying to figure out how the world breaks apart in the first place. Also Coulson's deal with Ghost Rider still has to shake out.
