That outfit isn't set up for post VFX work... They will not be adding color in post to that costume. I have a feeling it's her 1st gen outfit and an homage to the OG Captain Mar-vell colors. She will probably get her blue/red/yellow suit later on.

Also, does that suit look a little "big" on her? Doesn't seem to fit as tight as the other costumes we've seen in the MCU. I'm going with proto-suit that will not be her final suit.

Visual effects. Looks like she's wearing a green screen. Part of the suit might be translucent or something.

It doesn't look like it's done that way. The green doesn't even match on her legs and shoulder pads. Also, some parts look dirty like they are meant to be worn. If you were going to add CG then you wouldn't have to do that.

That suit looks fantastic!

Disclaimer: I have no expectations as I'm not really familiar with the Captain Marvel comics.

The toy companies gonna be really happy that they get to sell two versions of Captain Marvel... Green suit Kree Army Carol and Captain Marvel red/blue/gold suit Carol. They don't even have to wait for the sequel!

I like the suit, but hate the hair style.

Liked that Black Panther tv spot but I am starting to really dislike those shockwave blast attacks he does with his kinetic energy.

sigh

of course they had to make Shuri "smarter" than Tony Stark

Stands to reason that Shuri has a leg up on Stark considering she's got access to mostly the same knowledge, plus the specialized research and resources of Wakanda. Likewise, realistically Shuri couldn't make an arc reactor. But she's also a head strong kid who'd brag about this stuff.

As long as they don't act like what Tony did in the past doesn't exist it shouldn't be a big deal. I'd expect her to be a little smarter since she's had tech and materials Tony could've only dreamed of having. I always loved in Marvel that people were always the smartest in their fields except for Reed who was a genius at everything.

I'm a bit cynical, because the whole genius trait in comics seems hollow if it's not reflected in their actual role, so I really hope Shuri gets her time to shine in the movie.

I mean, I think that's great. It's a lot better than the old Marvel comics treatment.

Well she's basically the head of Wakanda's science & technology division, at 16. I love the idea of portraying her as T'challa's "Q." I think they will do her justice.
I really don't like the idea, because Q is essentially just a supporting character with no agenda of his own, there to serve the actual superhero. That said, given all they've said and shown, I'm confident that they'll do a great job and that my fears (as usual) will prove to be unwarranted.

Edit:
Also didn't realize Shuri was supposed to be that young in MCU.

Wait, Shuri is supposed to be 16 in the movie? I thought she was like late 20's early 30's. Just a few years younger than T'Challa. Does he have any other siblings?

Well Shuri is a supporting character to T'Challa, that's just how it is. But the MCU has done a pretty good job of giving supporting characters their own arcs over the course of a few movies. I hope she has a role to play in Infinity War like Okoye appears to have, and I hope she gets to get involved in Avengers 4 and future crossover events so she can flex her scientific muscle with the other MCU superbrains.

Re: her age -

It's good she's debuting at a young age, hopefully she gets to take up the mantle when Boseman is done in the role. There's a lot of material to pull from and adapt in giving Shuri her own distinct presence and role in the MCU until then.

She's a supergenius for the same reason Spider-Man sticks to walls: because they chose to write her that way. And they probably cast her young so she can potentially take over later.
