Episode was pretty damn solid. Was disappointed we didn't get to see who was wearing the gas mass or whatever that was. Still a pretty well done dark episode.

Season 11 is one of the best seasons of the series, including the original five seasons. I consider it the real season 6. 12 and 13 are competent, as well.

All right, you convinced me enough about that 11.
I will go back to watch it from where I left off when I finish with TWD season 8.

Season 11 was legit. Lot of great story arcs and MOTW episodes. 12 was alright and 13 is also alright so far. Season 9 was my least favorite season but I felt season 10 started improving things. Show is better now and very little butthurt as well.

My all time favorite is were Dean gets bitten by a Djinn and gets to experience his mom and sandwhiches.

That ending fucking brakes me everytime.

Great standalone episode.

Also, I understand where the "it should have ended after season 5" comments come from. But I disagree.

Season 6 is overall solid. The problem is that it is just all over the place. But it has some great episodes like "Frontierland" and "The French Mistake."

Season 7 is the worst season of the series. So I can see if people gave up around then, thinking the show was all downhill from season 5. The potential of Leviathans and LeviaCas were completely wasted.

But Season 8 was great. The flashbacks in the first half of the season with the girl Sam met when he hit her dog are terrible but the rest is pretty great. The finale with Crowley in the church and the angels falling is one of the best episodes of the series.

Season 9 was a step back again. I would say it was the worst season after season 7. They squandered the potential with human Cas (which I still believe should have been permanent) and the fallen angels. And the Sam/Dean fighting became so over the top and forced that it became legitimately hard to watch the show at times.

Season 10 is good. It's slower paced but it's good overall. But again, they missed out on the potential for Demon Dean.

So 6-10 are a mixed bag. Two seasons that aren't very good at all, one that is great, and two that are filled with ups and downs. But season 11 is one of the best in the series and I think it has maintained that quality with 12 and 13. The focus on more of a larger cast for a number of points during 12 and 13 has kept the show fresh. And I think the showrunners that took over with season 12 really put rest to some of the nonsense that kept repeating itself, such as the brothers fighting and keeping secrets from each other.

Sam telling Dean that he hid that he was working with the British Men of Letters from him (for only one episode, I should add) and Dean being like, "You know what? Okay. I trust you. Let's do this." was one of my favorite moments in years.

Man, I was sorta hoping it wasn't monsters, just regular fucked up humans like that other episode we had way back in the day. On the other hand a darkweb monster e-bay site was sorta interesting. I didn't suspect the FBI guy at all till he showed up when same asked for the address and was like o he's def a baddie! But by then it was obvious.

I wanna know what those monsters were that were betting, I think the girl was a vamp; speaking of which, I thought they went extinct fully after their Alpha died...he was trying to create a few but during the MoL arc I thought they killed em all and then killed the Alpha. But then again maybe some were hiding and being regular folk like that FBI agent was saying. Anyways I think the dude was likely a werewolf, but he was the blue one? I also wonder what type of monster the FBI agent was and who the masked man was. So many questions!

But pretty good episode, I love doug he's a funny dude.

Season 9 permanently ruined angels and reapers. So fuck that season and its garbage lore.

EDIT: Holy shit, and Gabriel! His "return" was shit.

I assumed the FBI agent was human. Maybe the same with the guy in the mask. I formulated my opinion in the wording the FBI agent used in regards to the monsters needing to eat. At any rate it's left to interpretation.

His personality was completely different. Granted, there was a good story explanation, but it was just so disappointing.

That was a decent episode. Waiting till the end to reveal that this is a MOTW episode and not just a serial killer was kinda fun, even if just a serial killer would have been a bigger twist for the show. Love that when they do this kinda stuff it boils down to Grindhouse Americana, its a very unique aesthetic that somehow is even better with that Supernatural twist, and they should have done this way earlier. The only issue I have with is that ridiculous number, no way in hell there are 100s of thousands of supernatural entities in the states, with only 20-30 hunters after them, and no governmental branch or Men of Letters style protection net. I mean, the country should have been taken over decades ago, if not the world. That was a ludicrous and seriously stupid move, keep the mystery god damn it, its the only reason this show works in the first place.

Forgot to comment on this.
B-Movies Horror+Scooby Doo+Supernatural=GOAT Episode Material. Go full schlock, full live action with all the stereotypes. Stoner Shaggy, Velma as the sluttier one, Fred and Daphne as the Prom King and Queen perfect couple, and 40 minutes of Dean trying to figure out how the fuck and why the fuck a great dane is talking to him. Maybe try and throw in Gabriel. Somehow

We've known about that since before the season started :p

Also, I adored this episode because Donna is amazing.

Hoping the reason they got rid of Doug is so that she can hang full time with the Daughters I mean Sisters

I figured that was the point in getting rid of Doug. As far as I know, Donna is set to be a main character in Wayward Sisters.

This makes me very happy.

Yeah I'm actually quite happy with the cast for Wayward Sisters. I'll admit that I like Sheriff Mills and Donna the best but the kids are alright too for the most part. They might further grow on me as well. Did really like Clara's badass introduction in the beginning of the Wayward Sisters backdoor pilot episode. That was pretty cool.

These guys and their drama. "

Sam, we just gotta work through it. I know you're in a dark place."

That's like what they said in season 5-10 hahaha those writers are on auto pilot.

Eh. Usually Dean's the one in a dark place and Sam's keeping the faith so it's interesting to have the roles reverse, with Dean being hopeful and Sam being so depressed he's not even getting out of bed.

These monsters messed up by taking on the Winchesters. Their entire races will be wiped out.

I know us hyping season 11 might set expectations a bit higher than when it aired, but that was a wild ride at first. Most of us were not expecting it, and watching the posts on the other place as the season went on and everyone like, "Um, the season is still delivering. What is going on?"

Nah. Pretty sure it has went both ways. Dean has gone there more often but so has Sam. Often enough for me to make a valid point about it.

This is the thing I don't get.

Angels. Demons.

Y'all know who the Winchesters are. You know, for a fact, that they've fucked up Lucifer and Leviathan, they've killed Death, they've met God and the Darkness and lived to tell the tale.

Colonel Sanders can be cocky, but if you're a rank-and-file demon, what the hell are you doing? The angels two episodes ago, why are you killing dudes when you can go to Castiel, who's all bro with the Winchesters and say, "Hey, can we get the Anti-Christ to help us out with the lack of angels?". Instead, you send six angels, and WHOOPS... they're all dead. Good job. If I were anything even remotely low-level and I heard a sniff of "Winchester" you'd find me on the border moving to Canada. I understand, it's dramatic license, but really folks should be more afraid of Sam and Dean.

So much this. I mean, we even had the thread renamed from 'Hello Darkness my old friend' to 'No, seriously, it's awesome again' because of our shock.

The trailer for Baby happened and everyone was all meh. Then everyone was like WTF JUST HAPPENED THAT WAS AMAZING WTF.
And then Don't Call Me Shurley... So much hype. It was nice to feel that way about the show again

Can you imagine if you were the guy who killed them, though?

But do they?

I mean darkness ok because everyone was there but most god, death and leviathans were pretty under the rug/ middle of nowhere type of stuff that only reapers know

So I recently got back into this show after having quit watching back when Episode 1 of Season 11 came out. No idea why I quit watching then, the episode wasn't particularly bad or anything. I think it had to do with just tired of having to watch a show that was way past its prime.

Decided I needed a show to get me through a really long voyage in Elite: Dangerous and since Supernatural had 10+ seasons, thought it'd be the best choice, especially since I fondly remember the first half of the show (Seasons 1-5). Let me tell you right now, I can pretty much remember every single episode and during Seasons 1-5 (except the Bela Talbot story somehow), but after that, everything was just a blur; I'd remember certain major plot points but not specifics like the first 5 seasons. No idea if it was because I had rewatched the show so much during the first 5 seasons or just because everything after Swan Song was so forgettable. Anyway, I got up to where I had stopped watching and while I wasn't feeling quite so fatigued as I had when I left, I was dreading having to watch another three seasons. Wow, was I surprised, I certainly picked the worst place to leave the show, it has definitely picked up since then, even approaching the same levels of quality during the 5 seasons.

So consider me back on the Supernatural train. Also really intrigued about this upcoming cross-over. Hope its done well because I love both IP's.

Wait...so is Lucifer dead...again? Or did he just geat weakened further? Because afaik only an Archangel blade can kill an Archangel, but maybe since he lost most of his grace a regular blade can kill him? I hope he's not dead, that'd be a shitty way to off Lucifer.

Also knew Sam was gonna let her have the page, he stood there way too long, lol. And them blue eyes, she like a Jinn or an Angel now? Only two creatures I know with blue eyes.

Loved Deans jab at Sam when he trying to reach the hex bag, also that bro moment at the end ;_; the feeeeeels

strange intro to the latest episode. If they can enchant via a love spell? Why can't they just ask the man to give them the booze + money? instead they kill for man, just because.
