This has been stuck in my head/on repeat for a few days now

I just read that Ovid's exile from Rome by the Emperor Augustus 2000 years ago was recently revoked. This prompted me to play this Dargaard song with lyrics from Metamorphoses to observe this reversal and Ovid's continuing influence on culture.
The story of Cadmus and the dragon is chilling and has a timelessness that still finds it way into many stories. The song takes its lyrics from the section when Cadmus's attendants searching for water in a pristine forest find a wellspring issuing from a cave and the serpent sacred to Mars hidden therein is revealed.

I've listened to Mount Eerie's A Crow Looked At Me a few times and this album breaks me. I almost feel like this is the aoty by default. "We are all always so close to not existing at all"

I'm loving the Slowdive album that came out last year. First time listening to them, so obviously Souvlaki is next

I am totally addicted to 'Legendary' by A'Lisa B. (featuring Charlie Babie).





Those not familiar with A'Lisa B., she was formerly of the group Max-A-Million.
Their hits include "Fat Boy" and Take Your Time (Do It Right).



Amazing voice and talent. She also wrote the song "Praying For An Angel" (1994) for Rochelle.

i love dreamtheater the drumer is just awesome,better than portnoy imo.

Getting back into Korn big time right now. Really digging the latest record as well as their first stuff.
