Two Kyogre raids today, caught them both and got 6 candy. Leveled up my perfect one to just beat out my perfect blissey as my strongest cp pokemon overall.
No idea what to do now. I caught enough magikarps for a third gyrados, not sure if I should evolve the lower level higher iv one or the higher level one.

What other legendary would the release after Kyogre if not Rayquaza? Niantic has been playing up the Groudon Kyogre battle and Rayquaza is the next part of that.
I would do the higher level one, they're just going to be backing up your Kyogre at this point. A level 25 Kyogre does more damage than a level 40 gyarados.
Just got my 2nd EX raid pass. And I feel like I don't deserve this at all.
In the last few month i did:
3 Kyogre raids
1 Groudon raid
1 Ho-Oh raid
out of those 5 legendary raids I got 2 EX raid passes. Just feels wrong somehow.
At least for this gym I had the gold medal. Also it's directly at work and the raid is right after work.

Gold medals do not seem to matter , however I'm one of those that believe that interacting with the gym regularly helps - the most common EX raid location for my town is right outside my work and also the closest gym to my house.
So I spin that gym multiple times each day (at least 5 or 6)
I take it every morning and drop something in
If its taken before I go out for lunch and I've not got all my coins for the day I would take it again at that point.
There is another group who take it in the evenings so the gym is always turned over at least a few times each day.
I would do early morning raids / lunchtime raids / evening raids there and at the weekend I would always do raids there as well.
The *next* most common EX raid gym in the area is the next closest to me and again its one i interact with every day (just not as much as the main gym)
I had an EX pass last week (for my main gym), and have one for tomorrow (for the next closest) - I do not have one for next week (which is at a different gym from those) - and if i catch my MewTwo tomorrow I will have 7
I do think its random but if the gym has been selected you should be doing as much to interact with it as possible
FYI there are others in the area who have also had 6 or 7 invites

5k for 1 candy but you only need to get '4' to evolve it - just switch back out and catch more rubbish feebas
My best buddy is 350km with the geodude/golem I hatched on day 1

Not sure I ever thought I'd see this in a sentence, and yet here I am.
2 million exactly? That's an OCD player like me's dream. I hate when my Stardust total does not end in a 5 or 0.
Damn that's crazy. There's a gym somewhat close to my work that's an EX hotspot so I guess I'll try to start raiding there a lot. Kind of sucks that if you don't frequent certain areas, your EX chances are poor.
There are more people with silver and bronze badges so that isn't saying much.
What is interesting is that data shows ex raid passes go to MORE people who do FEWER raids. You'd think the more raids you do on that gym the more likely you're going to get a pass but the data contradicts that.
Are we expecting the Legendaries to ever come back? I missed Zapdos and Groudon and still don't have a Kyogre, but they'll probably come back one day right?

Yeah, my 1st raid pass was to a gym where I did only 1 raid (with a raid group). Other side of city too... lol
I now have 15 gold gyms.
I feel like they've got to come back eventually, even if only for some special events. I didn't start playing again until Groudon so I've missed everything up until that.
I like those odds.
(But I would prefer Feebas. I already have a 95% Slakoth and a 91% Gardyvoire)
Really hope they come back through a different system.
No, sadly they are really bad. Right now the best fighting types are
Machamp (The best)
Hariyama (Good for a anchor)
Blaziken (Glass cannon not as high damage as Machamp but still ok and not enough defense as Hariyama)
don't do it man, I quit for a couple months and missed Suic and Ho-Oh and Delibird and I have lots of regret now
it almost feels like our city has figured out the ex-raid system. most of the eligible gyms have had an ex-raid. most of the familiar faces i see when raiding have gotten invites already.
the research is in the silph road subreddit. just takes a few dedicated peeps to apply it to their city. then it's a concerted effort to fulfill the invite criteria. though i imagine each city's geographic meta may be different.
today's report: went after a 100iv level 32 feebas. surprised to see a group of over 20 people in the middle of the day in an outskirts part of the city there. i already blew 100 candies on a previous sample, so i've got to build up my stash again. also grabbed a 100iv dratini and got the silver dragon medal. also 0/2 on kyogre >_<

I have really noticed an increase in 100% Pokémon appearing recently, this is exciting for those of us that did not know about iv early on.

My wife is doing an ex-raid as well today. I got lucky and was able to place both her and me into the gym (Mystic). So since 9:30 am, I've been sitting on the gym screen watching. Making sure no-one takes it over, so she has an extra shot. I pitty the poor fool who tries to take it over, she has 200 golden razz berries. lol
