Time to start this game. This will be my work fix for dissidia while I'm away from the main game.
You get them from playing the story and events. You get Yuna in Ch.3.
Ah ok gotcha. So are people just rerolling the first draw and drawing with the gems after? I got a warrior of light weapon on the first draw so I assumed it was always gonna give me that one.
The tutorial draw with the ticket can be WoL, Rem or Vivi. WoL is the best one I believe though. Once you kill the first boss "Iron Giant" you will have enough gems to do a multi pull. If you complete the first island (15 min or so) you will have enough for 3 mutli pulls.
Hasn't happened in the Japanese version so far, and considering the international release delay I wouldn't expect the NieR folk anytime soon.
How are there practically no professional reviews for this game? Maybe I'm just not finding them?

This is for the gacha mobile game, rather than the mainline fighting game. Gacha games don't generally get reviews.
I don't think I've seen a review of a gacha game in my entire life.
I mean, they are free. Try it out yourself.

Just did a co-op mission. pretty cool, the rewards are nice. Me and another were WoL and they are really powerful when people pay attention to attack order and place shields correctly.

Loving the ladies of stamina for story stuff but the inclusion of stamina for event missions.

- Y'shtola
Who should I be building my party around? Cloud and WoL were my first 5*s so I've been using them the most and their levels are way higher than everyone else, and my third slot has kind of just been floating. Cecil seems to be an absolute damage monster (and can break everyone at once), but Cloud is also pretty much pure DPS so I'm not sure if I should be building up a support character as well.

They did transfer from iOS to Android, I have not yet went back to iOS but it doesn't seem like FFBE where you lose your gems. But I haven't tested iOS -> Android -> iOS yet.
If you do, let me know. Also update the release information in the OP.
Whichever you want. The All Star is all character items, the weekly is also all characters, but has a higher appearance rate for the featured 3. Keep in mind that the first pull for All Star is half price, though.

Yeah, I think a link got posted earlier - if It's the same from Reddit, the site listing the characters should have the Japanese and Global lists.
If you tap and hold on the weapon it shows you a picture of who Its for
Time I'd usually spend tm'ing in FFBE is time actually being spent playing Opera. Oh how times have changed. I get it, it's new and it's shiny and it's different but the real test will be to see what the end game is like and if it holds up well.
You can download an android emulator, restore your account and activate the code for yourself and then transfer the game back to your iPhone/iPad.
I'll PM it to you.

Loving the Crystal drops, you can get Crytal Level til 40 before you need those biggest crystals.

How hard are those quests? I saw the lowest level one was 40.
I cleared harder once. Tho it went to solo, since one player quit before it was up and another one left in the middle.
Btw harder one is Great Malboro. Doing "Very Bad Breath", I was wtf when I saw the spell.
They are quite hard, Iam doing easier and still getting sometimes failed...
Just finished Chapter 2. I'm hooked, I love it. It won't replace FFBE, but I could see it cannibalize some play time from it for sure.
