Kraft and Bill were probably like "Josh, are you really offering to renege on your promise to the Colts at the 11th hour, leaving them high and dry, and not letting any of the assistants you hired know about it?" And when Josh was like "Yes, yes I am" they said "Now you are a True Patriot."

Just like their namesake, they are all traitors.

This McDaniels guy is a real class act.

That is incredibly shitty.

Asking these assistant coaches to up and move their lives and families by signing these contracts with the Colts, and then you back out at the last minute without any sort of heads up to these guys.

Has anything like this ever happened? McDaniels completely fucked over the Colts with this bullshit, and who would ever take a chance on him again after this? Unless he is supposed follow BB as Pats HC.

Bill Belichick did something very similar to this. He was the HC the Jets for one day before quiting to become the Pats HC

McDaniels is a real piece of shit for this move, just about as classless as you can get. Hope he crashes and burns hard in New England in 2019 and beyond. Hard to get a better confirmation that Belicheck isn't long for this league though.

Colts should immediately interview Reich and DeFillipo if they still want an offensive guy. Both would likely be great hires.

Guys remember call that "pass to Brady" play

Do you really want the OC that calls that as your HC anyway

I'm imagining a Batista Bomb or a Spinebuster
Now that I'm putting more thought into it I want it to be an elbow drop.

Imagine Gronk doing that.

Many teams are also still offering HC positions to Belichick students when they've never succeeded so I don't think they really care.

I was pissed at the play until I actually read the rules. The ref is right. There is actually a note added to the catch rules that specifically states the ball can move like that
Note: If a player has control of the ball, a slight movement of the ball will not be considered a loss of possession. He must lose control of the ball in order to rule that there has been a loss of possession.

Good call by the ref. Ertz was also very clearly a runner. Overall great officiated superbowl. Just wish our defense did its job. Missing kicks wasn't great either.
