Looks more of a transition to friday pass distribution for a raid the sunday the week after.Yay, I got one for the 17th. It does seem like they're handing out a lot more. Wonder if they're fixing the system or phasing out Mewtwo.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooof Swablu 400 candies to Evolve
No. Gyms that had the most people raiding and are parks get the preferred treatment.400 for Swablu... yikes.
I guess Mewtwo raid passes are given out randomly?
Yeah, I had same issue with my 2nd smaller phone. Prob missed 5 times.Caught my first Rayquaza 89% IV, damn thing is hard to catch, large hitbox but you have to throw to the maximum distance.
Went farming for a good while. I guess Swablus appear mostly during daytime? As soon as the night arrived, no Swablus around, weird. Already at 200 candies for them so I'll definitely make sure to get the 400 before the event is over. No Raquaza raids nearby today, no Bagons :( 2 Beldum and a few new mons.
That's exactly it. There are too many gyms that spawn t5 eggs in a given day so coordination is needed, especially when most people are f2p and raid passes are limited. There are many bots available that can easily set up a raid in chat groups. You just need to find a group.I'm starting to think that as I live in such a huge city with so many hundreds of gyms that the community is too dispersed at this point, and raids are only achievable by planned meet ups.
Does having both Dragon and Flying medals gold have any extra influence on catchrate for Rayquaza? Because I am 3 for 3 atm. And I did wonder this beforehand, since it is the same for Mr. Mime ( is dual type) and I catch him 99% of the time with a great curved or more on a regular pokeball regardless of its level/cp.
You don't have to set aside a whole day. You just have to be proactive.
I use Facebook to coordinate.
I scan the nearby park(7 gyms)using gymhuntr. See a tier 5. I then post where it is, when it hatches and a proposed raid time. Once enough people chime in we set the time, show up, and we leave. If you aren't coordinating there is at most a 10-15 minute window where you could catch the group forming and raiding. People just want to maximize their time.
