Yay, I got one for the 17th. It does seem like they're handing out a lot more. Wonder if they're fixing the system or phasing out Mewtwo.

Welp, just got another pass lol, this would be my 5th Mewtwo, but I'm not going to the one I got for tomorrow, which is in the town I went to for the first Mewtwo I got, too busy this weekend for me to drive 2 hours for a Mewtwo and then come back to study for a test on Sunday.

I lured the Pokestop I sit on at work so I can at least get a head start on some of the more common ones before I hit the boardwalk tonight.

Honestly not much new near my house. But a wild Lairon and a Treecko just popped-up.

Since my location isn't a Water Biome, with Swablu being Normal/Flying, it shouldn't be too bad. Still walking my Wailmer to 400.

So, a lot of Volbeat, no Illumise here in Belgium. Hope it is a day/night divide.

I thought Kyogre was very easy to catch (I've caught 26/33) but Rayquaza has been even easier (4/4 so far with only a few throws necessar). My best one is 91% IV's with 15 attack. None of the three Gen 3 legendary's have been close to as hard to catch as previous gens.

Not bad. Saw one around as I was driving home, I popped over and snuck into the raid just in time.

Caught my first Rayquaza 89% IV, damn thing is hard to catch, large hitbox but you have to throw to the maximum distance.
Yeah, I had same issue with my 2nd smaller phone. Prob missed 5 times.

Went farming for a good while. I guess Swablus appear mostly during daytime? As soon as the night arrived, no Swablus around, weird. Already at 200 candies for them so I'll definitely make sure to get the 400 before the event is over. No Raquaza raids nearby today, no Bagons :( 2 Beldum and a few new mons.

Yeah I was seeing a ton during raiding hours and didn't see any the last two hours when I was walking around. So excited to have a Minun!

3/4 on Rayquaza, 89 with Atk is my highest. I find him a million times easier to hit excellents on and catch than Kyogre.

Fuck off blue whale. Good bye.

I did just one Rayquaza, and caught it at 2066 CP. It's 15 ATK, 13 DEF, and 14 HP, so great start.

Unfortunately, I have to TM the Ancient Power. Just hoping the next few that I catch come with Outrage.

I'm at 3/7 on Kyogre, and I stopped going after that one.

Yeah Kyogre can fuck right off, I ended up throwing balls randomly and without really caring whenever I came across a bad one, which was like 80% of the time, if not more lol.

Up to 327 now, caught a few new ones and as it is a sunny day finally evolved Cacnea and Baltoy.

I still HATE the raid system though.
No one ever turns up the any where I live or work so I went into central London yesterday and there was still no one at any raids. It's SO frustrating.

You guys that do tons must either live somewhere with a very active PoGo raiding community, or really go out of your way to meet with other raiders.

I'm starting to think that as I live in such a huge city with so many hundreds of gyms that the community is too dispersed at this point, and raids are only achievable by planned meet ups.

Raids have always been a planned thing. Everyone uses Facebook, Discord and GroupMe. Going to a random raid hoping for people to randomly show up is a crapshoot.

That's exactly it. There are too many gyms that spawn t5 eggs in a given day so coordination is needed, especially when most people are f2p and raid passes are limited. There are many bots available that can easily set up a raid in chat groups. You just need to find a group.

I sometimes end-up running into raiding groups, but I've never tried to join their social media groups.

Besides, they wouldn't want my Valor ass stinking up their happiness.

When the raids first started I could just go to a 5 star raid in a park in the centre of town and there would almost always be 15-20 people there.
Obviously not the case any more.

I have used Discord before but I can't set aside a whole day just to plan raids and travel around to designated spots. Especially not as frequently as they change the legendaries.
It's bumming me out because I'm now missing Zapdos, Suicune, Groudon, Kyogre, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Raikou.
I wish they'd allow for another way to attain them for solo players, whether it's a 20k egg or a special event or something.

That's the beauty of the raid bot. You can ignore it if you're not available and check it if you are available and join if you can make it. Personally, I can't do a lot of raids during the week because of conflicting working hours, so this setup is perfect for me.

You don't have to set aside a whole day. You just have to be proactive.

I use Facebook to coordinate.

I scan the nearby park(7 gyms)using gymhuntr. See a tier 5. I then post where it is, when it hatches and a proposed raid time. Once enough people chime in we set the time, show up, and we leave. If you aren't coordinating there is at most a 10-15 minute window where you could catch the group forming and raiding. People just want to maximize their time.

Does having both Dragon and Flying medals gold have any extra influence on catchrate for Rayquaza? Because I am 3 for 3 atm. And I did wonder this beforehand, since it is the same for Mr. Mime ( is dual type) and I catch him 99% of the time with a great curved or more on a regular pokeball regardless of its level/cp.

No, for dual types the game averages the medal catch bonuses.

That's cool for you, but no one raids near where I live or work. Ever.
On the London discord/reddit/FB groups they only meet up for raids in central London. Travelling in, raiding, and travelling back would take me a few hours. I can't just pop out on my lunch break and do a 5 star raid here, it's simply not feasible.

I've still never received a EX pass. A hardcore player since the very beggining with hundreds of raids completed. Yet casual players have been recieveing them regularly for months now.

Just don't understand why they can't have very specific criteria instead of basically a lottery.

Rayquaza is ridiculously easy to throw excellent on. Shame it isn't as reliable staying in the subsequent ball, but still ending the day at a 100% catchrate of 5/5.

If I actually had pinap berries I would have well over 300 Swablu candy in less than a day.
