Thank you! And yes, Taco Bell.
How is RDR on the One S? I assume smooth. My wife wants to replay it before the next one comes out and I am debating 3 options, play on PS3 (muddy), hookup my old 360 and play, or grab a XBO (possibly an XBX) and play there.
Let's! We should match up if it ever becomes BC. Then you will bare witness to my scrubiness

I'm only able to win against my wife because we basically employ the sam strategy. It also means she beats me half the time.I've literally never won a game of Puzzle Fighter against any human opponent. Not once.
That game is my kryptonite.
Games are regionless when they become BC, right? So when you insert an American disc into a PAL system you download the US version of said game. If a game is already available in both PAL regions and the US, do you still download the US version with a PAL copy?
The reason I'm asking is that I've been wondering if you can get access to bonuses in certain games that weren't originally released in a region, like Prince of Persia 2 that was included in the NTSC version of The Sands of Time, but not the PAL version. Will a PAL disc of The Sands of Time allow you to unlock PoP2 in the BC version? Will you be able to play the original Alice in Alice: Madness Returns, which was left out of the PAL version?
Wish someone would answer this. In any case I'll let you know next week when's my copy of NG arrives from England.
I'm pretty sure that this will work. The game may need to be available in your region.
Also, is there any news on Sonic Generations coming to BC? I still haven't gotten around to playing it and I had to return my brand new gaming laptop, because it was a complete POS.
Just started a play through of Ninja Gaiden Black. Only played the original. Those mage ninjas in the first stages are pretty damn cheap. I can't remember facing those in the original. Were those there? Very difficult to dodge their spell.

Just put a US Ninja Gaiden Black into my Euro XboneS and it downloaded it(strangely took a million years to download) and works fine.
I don't think PAL/NTSC is a necessary issue in the world of HD, all of these games have additional programming that boosts them up to 1080p (with improved graphics, surprisingly). As for which version will be used, I'm just guessing but probably the US version given that Microsoft is mainly based out of the US and all of the BC development was in the US. Additionally PAL doesn't scale as easily to HD, it's not an integer uprez and framerate would be off too. Who knows, though, it may be impossible to tell without any notable differences.Thanks. My question was a little different though. I knew games were region free, but not which region was downloaded. And that can make a difference in some cases, like how the original Alice was included in Madness Returns or PoP2 in the Sands of Time, but only the US versions. Those games were removed from the PAL versions.
If you insert a US disc of Sands of Time in your PAL system, do you download an US (where PoP2 is included) or a PAL version of the game?
Also Alice in Madness Returns was a download in the US on both 360 and PS3, so that technically wouldn't apply.

Yeah, you're right, the only way to tell would probably be to test it. The US version of Alice: Madness Returns works in PAL territories, as you have said. Guessing its a pretty slim audience.I know. A download you get in the US, which was removed from PAL regions. The question is, is it STILL removed in PAL regions if you use a US disc in an European system?
For those that picked up a Xbox primarily for the BC has it been worth it for you? Or do you find that you rarely touch it but just like the option to play the old games? Etc?
Played some of the opening, picture quality is OK, it's a bit fuzzy at times because of the resolution and lack of AA, but load times are very fast. The framerate doesn't feel super smooth, but could be my imagination, will need someone to do an in-depth test to know for sure.
It's actually the best looking and most technically sound version of the game imo (aside from the PC allowing for higher framerate and higher resolution with mods). Both of the Director's Cut versions suffer from missing textures, missing effects, weird art changes, new glitches, and other issues that just don't crop up in the 360 game. It's still pretty messy, but I prefer it to the other versions for those reasons.Didn't Deadly Premonition suffer from some glaring technical problems in the 360 version that added to its charm as a 'disastrous yet good game'?
You can block but it takes life. Difficult to avoid on every try as the timing is pretty unforgivable. Didn't try the arrow. Will have to give that a shot next time. They won't shoot at you if they aren't in camera view. If they do shoot at you, you can block it. One arrow will take one down.
I had a PAL 360 version of Alice: Madness Returns, and I got a code for the first game. Was it a first print thing?I know. A download you get in the US, which was removed from PAL regions. The question is, is it STILL removed in PAL regions if you use a US disc in an European system?
Yeah, I'm curious as to how much better the performance is. I've noticed that distant enemies still animate at lower frame rates than the rest of the action, so I'm sure that there'll be limits as to how much better this game can look in terms of smoothness, but I do think that this will be the best way of playing this game. I could never get into the Director's Cut versions. I hate the new cutscenes.Somebody get Digital Foundry on the line for Deadly Premonition comparison.
Yes! Thanks for the responseJust put a US Ninja Gaiden Black into my Euro XboneS and it downloaded it(strangely took a million years to download) and works fine.
So we seriously won't be seeing Halo CE and Halo 2 until next spring at the earliest? That's nuts.
I would kill Ninja Gaiden 2 and Vesperia for Ninja Blade to be BC.
And Wet.
