What is You Doin is aight

but these song titles are hilariously generic

and LaVar is some wanna be 7pm in Chino Hills shit

overall this a 5/10, better than Culture II

edit: If he had real features and not "DC the don" and "Kenneth Paige" this joint would be better

I agree with a lot of what overcast said in his #rare review, and despite being inclined to be lenient as it's a soundtrack, I think it's a really good listen-through. A lot of different sounds that feel like they're mashed together really well. Kendrick really did a great job executing producing this project, but I could have done without him on pretty much every track he appears on, outside of X and Opps probably. I think I fuck with more of the singing performances (Weeknd, Jorja, SZA, all of Redemption and Seasons) than the ones with rap. Dunno what the keepers are yet, but it's solid, just don't know how memorable or replayable a lot of these songs are.

Yup. Not sure how much I'll go back to the whole thing a few months from now. I do really like the connectivity in the album, between the Ab Soul song and kings dead for example.

You don't like Paramedic?

Can't believe I'm about to give a Nipsey project a listen. Been loving the singles, yet I think his verse on Bills is Paid is one of the worst I've ever heard and barely qualifies as rapping.
