Nothign got triggered here this time, no wonder, we did not have the usual large groupings last few weeks. Looks like most people got their Mewtwo's already.
Might be better personally as well, the Ex-Raids are for a monday, likely be planned at a time I am at work and cannot go anyway.

Just got another (3rd) shiny Pooch. Same area.

Randomly found the ice Castform at work this morning even though it's 70 and sunny. Now all I need is the fire one.

The snowy Castform also comes out when it's foggy, so maybe that was your weather for this morning?

I got my first EX pass, as I only sporadically do raids. But it's at like 3:30 on Monday. Not sure how I would be able to swing that... :/

The only 'mons from this gen I'm missing are the evolved Cactus (walking him now for the last 5 candies I need) and Wynaut. Fucking eggs. Scooped a 100IV Bagon last night too. Pumped to make that Salamance baby :)

I specifically went out with the game reading snowy conditions for the Castform but kept getting the rain form. I didn't get a snow one until 50 minutes into the weather change.

Got another pass lol, this would be my 6th Mewtwo, but I missed the 5th EX Raid because it was too far and I couldn't be bothered to do that shit again after my first Mewtwo, plus both of my accounts already got 98% Mewtwos so I'm good, I don't think I'll get the 100% one anytime soon.

Are you specifically targeting certain gyms or just getting lucky? Because I've been focusing on all the criteria people say to (parks, sponsored gyms, gyms that have been confirmed to have given passes previously) and I still have never got one EX invite.

Very annoying.

So what's the general consensus on Rayray? I find it way way easier to catch and my personal numbers back that up. I'm 23/38 on Shenron, and was a mere 12/34 on Kyogre. Did I just fall victim to the variance on Kyogre hard? Am I benefiting from the variance here?

Ray is much easier to peg right in the face with a curveball and seems less likely to double attack than Kyogre was for me.

Not really focusing, but I've definitely made a list in my mind of nearby gyms that have been handing out EX passes regularly, so if I happen to be close and there's a Legendary raid or I want to burn a pass before the day's over, I'll go and raid. Funnily enough, the gym I got a pass for yesterday is a gym I haven't raided in in so long because I already got a gold medal there, but I raided there yesterday morning because I was fresh off another raid and that one happened to hatch close, so I said fuck it and raided, but didn't expect to get a pass for it, it's also a new gym for EX raids.

Got my first EX raid pass but it's on Monday at 3pm, when I am at work, fml, why couldn't it be on the weekend. Hate this system.

The quick catch exploit has really made a difference in my play style. I used to ignore a lot of Pokemon just because the amount of time to catch them wasn't worth it. Now I catch everything and I am raking in the Stardust and XP. I'm sure Niantic will patch it out at some point, but I really wish they would an option for skipping the animations to let people play like this permanently.

A perfect Rayquaza ran away from me today. I hit every ball too. :(

Just got a wailmer nest nearby, it's time to knock wailord out. At the same park tonight there were four Rayquaza raids all happening or hatching in a 40 minute window.

Best thing to do is find a list of all the ex raid gyms in your area and specifically target Gyms that have a "high" amount of passes going out and once you've hit those gyms, focus on lower priority ex raid gyms that give out passes here and there to give yourself the best chances of getting picked.

In my country the default state is partly cloudy, I think I am yet to experience sunny weather in PoGo at all :|

I'm literally never going to get snowy/foggy castform unless I travel.

I caught a snowy cast form in the rain last week, I can't even remember the last time it snowed in my city.

I got impatient and evolved into a Salamance with a 98 IV Bagon after waiting. I caught a 100 IV that night. I would just say stay patient, a good one will pop up. Don't live my regrets haha

I keep a living Dex, so I need at least one of each base form in addition to the evolutions.

The game is back to not finding the gps while at work again.

And I received 3 10k eggs yesterday too! Gonna have to walk them for real rather than drifting.

I work under a big tin roof and my gps goes nuts when I'm actually just stood still doing nothing so I hatch about 5 eggs a day atm lol

Only started playing last month and I'm up to 194 caught. Got 4 feebas' from 10k eggs on wed so got a Milotic with no effort at all. Which was nice

I restarted my phone and now the gps works again. I'll stop complaining and accept my 10k bounty.

I haven't been able to fool the game GPS in over a year. I was getting decent mileage out of just having the Plus connected during my commute but even the Plus connection has been acting up lately.

One day before Community Day and I'm still like 1495/1500 Pokemon stored, and no candy multiplier in sight. Ughhhhhh

Calcy IV app changed the DPS values. Shit re-naming everything will take hours.

Tomorrow will be tough because it will be freezing cold. Let's see how long I'll be able to play until my fingers fall off.

Quick Question: Tomorrow is 3x star dust. Should I use my starpieces (star dust crystal things you know) in addition? how much star dust do I get then?

Its triple stardust for catches only (not egg hatching)
Yes you should use your star-pieces (and ideally have them running for the full time)
Non weather boosted will be 450 dust for each one
Weather boosts will add between 37 and 112 depending on evolution (?) - I think these are normally either 25 / 50 / 75

I'm not entirely prepared for tomorrow.

I have 18 starpieces and 54 pinaps.

But I need to make room in my Pokemon bag and restock on Pokeballs.

I burned so many Pokeballs over the last weeks. After tomorrow it will look really bad. Got enough berries and starpieces I think. Oh boy I'm excited. Just thinking about all that star dust mmmmmmmmh

That's cool. I still could use a good Groudon and more candy for each of them is always good.

Hopefully the hatch bonus the following week is significant.

However that does mean you'll have a week of

"I'll do it if its XXX"

Very cool, some of my friends who play have missed these so hopefully this is a sign of things to come. I'd love if we had a week with the birds and dogs next.

The reward for the event is nice, but organizing raids is going to suck. Being able to get a group of 4 has been really nice, now we get to wait an hour to find out we really need double.

In good news, I got my dragon badge last night!

In bad news, I won't be raiding that often as I don't want to do either of the non-Rayray raids.

Oh well. At least Dratini is tomorrow.

Very nice I've got 284 ultra balls and 62 pinap berries ready to go. Going to be walking up and down the beach for 3 solid hours hunting those Dratinis.
