I somehow always wanted to see this confrontation happen so that made me happy :D (spoilers obviously)
Her Max cosplay is on point but I'm less convinced by her other LiS ones. That's the thing: Rachel/Max/Chloe have different features, so no one should be able to cosplay perfectly the 3 different girls. Unless you're a shapeshifter, that is xD
Does sacrificing Chloe make Max grow as a person? It's the "morally" right thing...that doesn't mean it will do anything for Max in terms of becoming better.
Well, I guess no matter she grows as a person because no matter her choice the event would affect her in some way. If she doesn't choose to sacrifice Chloe I don't think that she's unaffected by the loss of life in Arcadia Bay. She's going to have to live with some form of regret.
However, I wouldn't want to spend my life as Max in Arcadia Bay knowing that what I love about the place is lost. So I feel like the Bay ending is a heavier loss because the Arcadia Bay she's knows ends with the consequences of that choice.
Bay to me is the morally right choice in terms of limiting overall suffering, but it's not the right choice for Max to limit her own suffering.

No updates since he finished episode 3. His latest tweet is about thinking of Chloe when he sees one of his friends who has blue hair though haha, so it's definitely still on his mind.

It's totally secondary, and inconsequential to others, but I do recall the farewell episode had a trophy/achievement prior to Ep. 2's release. Wonder if we'll get a replacement or not...

Oh yeah, forgot they had to change the requirements to unlock the platinum bc the bonus episode had trophies too that were removed for players without the season pass. Hope we get some added trophies as well.

It's the little things like this that I love the most about LiS. Okay, that's not true, it's totally the characters, but these details might be a close second. But then there's also the soundtracks...

Tons of people saying chloe in that character thread. Not surprising, but it's crazy how polarizing she still is.
I really don't understand it. I consider myself highly anti-social, sometimes with empathy problems, was resistant to therapy but medicine helped a ton. ... Yet even I got attached to Chloe. How callous/cynical you gotta be to get annoyed with her?
Decided to play BtS again before the bonus episode comes out and I really love "Brave New World," specifically
and of course the scenes that come after. It's just so sweet and romantic in a way that video games rarely are.

Nice, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the game as you go through. And yeah, it touches on a lot of themes that a lot of other games don't really go for at all, definitely something I love about it.
Yeah I'm pumped for it, as well as my vinyl edition.
And yeah I'm pumped to see what Deck Nine's next project is.
So I loved the original Life is Strange, but I just never got around to playing Before the Storm until now. I just finished Episode 2 tonight, and I love how this franchise always manages to kick me right in the feels.
I haven't had a shipping notice yet but good luck trying to get a delivery out to where I am.

First time posting in the thread since I just noticed the shipment confirmation for the Vinyl Edition! I'm super excited! The pic I seen on Twitter makes it look more pink than purple which is unexpected. One day I'll get the first vinyl, one day.
Do y'all think the farewell episode with end on a happier tone or what? What are your expectations if any?

I also have a vinyl edition ordered (UGH WHY DO I NOT HAVE AN SHIPMENT EMAIL YET, COME ON SQUARE!!!!!) and am also hella excited for it!
I sure hope the Farewell episode has a happier tone to it. It's going to be bittersweet either way just because this is most likely our last time with these characters and being in Arcadia Bay, so even if the tone of the episode is happy I know I'm going to cry during it, and definitely at the end. I don't have any real expectations though, they still haven't shown any footage of it at all, not even a teaser trailer as far as I'm aware. My guess is that it's going to be Max and Chloe hanging out at Chloe's house most likely, maybe going on a little pirate adventure together, that's about it. But those are just guesses.
Oh damn, I'm not really into funko pop but these are great. Love the design they used for Chloe.
I'm expecting a lot of happy moments like finding out about the wine stain and pirate adventures before they rip our hearts out at the end.
