Hmmm... I wanted to post a screenshot from FH1 Enhanced, but downloading it via the Xbox app to my phone only results in it being 1080p

Ò.ó

btw: It looks awesome.

Is this only for Xbox One X? Or does standard Xbox One look like this too?

Xbox One X only I believe. Since the option is named "Xbox One X Settings". Haven't tested it on a One S though, so I could be wrong. I forget exactly where, but I read somewhere that Xbox One S didn't make a huge difference graphics wise, so they didn't add any improvements on the S for BC games.

Alright, makes sense.

Question, how can I access that option? Saw it's integrated in the old 360 guide menu but when I press guide I only have the Xbox One guide.

Open the Xbox 360 Guide > Go all the way to the right

Yes I know, but how do I open the 360 guide?

Thanks for the heads up on the games as they added. I've been waiting for Crackdown for a while (hoping it was coming due to the 3rd game) and got my copy right out and tossed it in the One X.

I looove Crackdown and Forza Horizon 1 but man I already played them to death, wish it was Crackdown 2 (which I didn't play much) so I could actually sink my teeth into it. Have something new while experiencing the enhancements.

Amongst the x enhanced games, Lego star wars: tcs also just received an update. Could mean nothing but I'm choosing to take it as confirmation of Lego batman 2 this Thursday.

Also brave is free a day early with gwg.

I remember Crackdown 2 to be a huge disappointment...but I honestly doesn't remember why.

It was the same city as before, just slightly altered, the vehicles didn't transform, and some people didn't like the mutants. Having played it not too long ago, I found myself disagreeing with that popular sentiment, I thought it was superior in almost every way. The mutants are fun, especially to run over with vehicles, the old gang gameplay is still partly there in shape of the Cell, the visuals are improved overall, even though some details were better in the old game, and there's a shitload of new equipment and challenges to toy around with. Some of it was taken from the first game's DLC, but some of it was brand new, and a lot of fun. I did miss the transforming vehicles, but it's just cosmetic stuff that you get over quickly. I really hope that the sequel gets the same treatment.

Hey, I have a peculiar question, and sorry if it's already been answered (I did a quick thread search and got no results). I don't own an Xbox One, but I was wondering how Xbox One backwards compatible handled PAL 50hz games. As far as I'm aware, the PAL release of Psychonauts is locked at 50hz, so I was wondering if the version downloaded when you stick the disc in is the PAL version or the NTSC version? (I'm kinda hoping it's the latter)

Last night I played some Crackdown and FH. I loved Crackdown back in the day and I've never played FH1.

Crackdown - I had lost my save some time ago so I was starting over from scratch. At first I was concerned because the game felt so sluggish and slow to respond. I thought that maybe there was some tremendous input lag due to the BC in this game, but after I upgraded my agility and guns a couple times it felt a lot better so I guess I just forgot how weak you started out. I wonder how many will try this game for the first time and stop after 15 minutes because it feels bad at first and assume that's the way the game will play the whole time and chalk it up to just being old. Once you get some upgrades the game is just as fun as I remember. The vehicles control terribly, but I don't think that's anything new. I always just go on-foot.

Forza Horizon - This game looks and plays so well. It's really surprising given it's age. I had only played some of 2 and 3, but I had no issues going back to this one and it feels great.

I'm going to try out Witcher 2 tonight. I was trying to play through Witcher 1 first on PC but it's just so clunky (especially with a controller) that I was basically forcing myself to play it which meant I was probably never going to finish it anyway. I think I'm just going to skip it and go straight to 2.

Thanks for the heads up on Crackdowns slow start, nice to know as I've only briefly played the game before and wouldn't mind try playing it!

The cars are horrible in Crackdown, it may be the handling or camera or both, never feels good. I do hope they improve in the new game and also transform again allowing stupid jumps and what not.

My two complaints with the cars are 1) The turning radius is really wide, and 2) The cars are very "sticky" meaning that when they touch walls and things and are brought to a near-stop instead of simply sliding or bouncing off of them while maintaining speed. When you combine these two it becomes annoying. But as I said earlier, once you upgrade a couple times the cars are mostly pointless anyway. It's more fun to run and jump around.

Hm Fable anniversary looks great now in 4k BUT the game has some really have stutters now during that mode. Wasnt like that before

Try switching it back to "Performance" mode and see if the stutters go away. It should play like it did before. That's what the toggle is for, after all.

I had the same issue, but a hard reset solved the problem.

There is a huge difference after the cars are upgraded. While leaping across buildings never gets old, there is something to be said about driving up the Agency building blasting Si Senor. :)

A heads-up that I feel like people should mention: The leveling system for the different skills makes the cars feel fundementally different not that long into the game. They feel like ass at base level. Doing races is a good way to boost it, but even before that, just hitting gang members in vehicles will get you that type of experience.

Character movement has that same arc, and it ends up feeling really nice.

Climbing Wang tower. Oh you devs.

That Agency tower climb, amazing. Jumping off that always made my butt clench.

I love those so much. They were pretty much ideal as a subset of the normal orbs, and they had a "track" they had to stick to so it wasn't like they just arbitrarily disappeared. It was also a perfect hunt for co-op games.

I only saw videos of it annoying the hell out of people.

Just ordered an xbox one s. I'm super excited to jump into the BC game.

Mass effect trilogy play through will be the first.

I really wish splinter cell blacklist was a BC game.

Vanquish plays so well with the Elite controller. Mapping boost to a paddle makes the game play so much smoother.

BC really is such an incredible feature.
