Not gonna lie, a DR. Wario game would be pretty hype lol

Would love to see it being true lol

All these insiders are so quiet. That tells me we're not getting any new info from Nintendo for weeks.
I wouldn't exactly take that as a confirmation.

The previous directs before the Mini didn't really come with tons of insider speak before-hand, that's what allowed the mini to become so ironically hyped (because it was actually LESS of a big deal than a normal direct)

If there is going to be a big direct e3, it will for sure be within the next month or so. I don't think they would have one witthin 2 months before e3.

I think the insiders here might be a bit gunshy this time around after everything that happened last time. Not that I'm betting on us getting a direct any time soon in particular, obviously

Not gonna lie, I'd bite immediately on clean white joycons.

Obviously that leak is very fake but a man can dream.

Yeeeeah not happening. I could kinda believe most of the 3DS stuff (although they're definetely not making a brand new Zelda title and releasing the Ambassador messy-ass GBA games this late into the console's life cycle). Then I got to the Switch and it was amazingly clear how fake it was. 1-2 Switch being a pack-in with how well it's selling? Yoshi having a title as similar as the last one and, honestly, sounding kinda bad? "From Superheroes to Robots and Cowboys" with South Park, considering these last two ones only appear on the Phone Destroyer game? RDR being ported, being a game that hasn't been ported to any other console or PC rather than PS3/360 because of how terrible the code was? Fire Emblem being delayed to 2019 when they've constantly stated that it's coming this year?

I'm really easily fooled, but man this guy didn't even try.

If this press event is real, I wonder if there's more than just Tropical Freeze. I hope someone can give us some confirmation.

There's still at least 4 internal Nintendo R&D groups that haven't revealed any Switch games. Retro, NLG, and NST.

Why would they give 1-2 switch as a free game? It's sold over a million copies at 30-50 bucks a pop.

It seriously could've made them more money than arms, Xenoblade, and FEW combined.

Next Level's recent hiring habits are really weird... They currently have 10+ producers including several who have barely ever worked in gaming.

I'm curious if this work flow management style of a billion bosses who are just good at organizing people even if they haven't worked in games will actually pay off...

Hasn't NLG been making something since like 2015 or earlier? I remember that it was reported that they were working on a wii u game that moved to the nx around e3 2015.

4 groups and 3 studios ;) I bet Retro and NGL are 2019. But their project reveals could/should be this year.

Oh, so it was a tease that Next Level Games has two teams or something?

Or do you just mean 4 EPD groups...

Retro's game should be shown this year or many things have gone terribly wrong, but Next Level's game could still be a while away, they've never made an HD project before.

I definitely think Retro and NLG are one team studios. Aside, from maybe being able to port a game on the side. The internal groups refer to Nintendo R&D teams rather than Nintendo owned or funded/contracted studios.

Retro's slightly bigger than one-game, but not two-game. They're "One game team plus a small support team" sized.

This is what I'm thinking. The Tropical Freeze port conveniently comes out one month before E3. That's the perfect opportunity for Retro to reveal their new game, slated for an early 2019 release.
100-150 people is only big enough for one game at best.
They've been developing the Tropical Freeze port alongside their new game.

Nintendo aren't going to announce that Fire Emblem is a 2019 title in a March 2018 Direct. This isn't worth your time.
