Saw BP and am currently watching their review, I agree with both Mike & Jay ironically enough. I thought both half of the films were interesting enough and could/should have been two different films.

I just noticed that The Crawlers is on Vudu's ''Free With Ads". (about a minute of ads every 15 minutes lately)
It's listed as "Contamination .7" in their database but the cover art onscreen says The Crawlers.
There's some other BotW stuff on there, too, like The Dinosaur Project.

Len Kabasinki has a new movie out

https://twitter.com/killerwolffilms/status/967424033817088003 (NSFW cover image).

His work ethic is pretty surreal. His "Angel of Reckoning" plug on BOTW was 9 months ago and he is working on "Swamp Zombies 2" now. I am curious what the RLM crew could put out with that kind of commitment.

On a different topic, has anyone seen "Stargate: Origins." I went over to a friends house as he got that stargatecommand membership and the quality is only a little bit above "Space Cop."

There's a thread for Origins. You can tell it was made for like 5 dollars and some coupons.
I don't hate it, but it's a poor excuse of an exclusive product to sell to people in order to pimp your 1 year Stargate streaming membership. lol

I missed the last movie premiere that Len had here (I live in the same town in PA as him) so I hope he does another one for this movie.

Edit: Apparently I missed Blood Prism because it was in December during Snowpocalypse.

Outside of the Eliminators VHS call on their Patreon, I'm calling shenanigans with Best of the Worst. Over a month means they are truly hack frauds. I'm calling them out. Too long without Best of the Worst will leave me looking for solace in Transformers and Resident Evil sequels. Remedy this!!

Didn't Rich say they were working on a secret project on Pre-Rec or something.

And although I don't want it I'm guessing a Last Redit Plinkett Review is in the works. Can't ignore those views! Clickbait!

There will definitely be a TLJ Plinkett review, but I doubt that work on it will begin in earnest until they have the home release to scrutinize.

Finally saw the movie tonight, and I mostly agree with Jay here. The crossover of the Shakespearean drama and the currently-relevant global politicking was great, and Ryan Coogler is so good with his actors. Aside from a couple moments in the car chase (and the story necessity of the royal challenge, I guess), I would have been totally willing to watch a movie with the same story expanded and all the action removed. That there's a 4-hour cut of this speaks volumes, even though that seems to be the case for everything these days.

And boy does it seem like in-your-face CG has been taking a nosedive in general the last couple years.

Fabulous movie with layers I didn't see the first time around, but it's undeniable that the action scenes were piss poor. And Creed had some incredible and intense fights, so I'm not sure what happened there.

And yeah, the CG Black Panther suit was really obvious. It's surprising, considering how CG Iron Man has been (mostly) convincing since Avengers 1.

It doesn't help that unlike Civil War, the suit was constantly glowing with purple CG energy, too. That just made it all the more obvious.

The CG for the Killmonger suit looked even worse.
What's really weird is that the BP suit in Civil War was 100% CG in every shot and usually looked good.
I loved the movie but the action really dragged it down, especially that big outdoor battle, though the rhino bit with Okoye partially redeemed that one.

A third-party seller on walmart.com has six copies of Depraved Degenerates (Suburban Sasquatch and five other movies) for under $8 each. That's the cheapest I've seen since the BotW episode about Suburban Sasquatch went up.

I found Yor: Hunter From The Future on Blu-ray in the discount bin at Wal-Mart ($7.88). It was kind of tempting.

That's actually normal price. It's from budget distributor Mill Creek, from a new 4K scan by Sony. Theatrical version, though.
Their stuff usually gets down to $1.50 at Fry's within a year.

it's strange. the last time they had such a gap between new content was when they were doing their feature film. And as we all know, they suck.

Obviously they're hack frauds that have forgotten their YouTube account password.

They must have finally gotten those last couple of Nukie tapes they needed. Now they can finally sit down and not watch it.
