The bridge to Military base meta has been impressive. Have had several games in squads were teams create a blockade and destroy anything trying to cross.

I've had basically the same thing but instead of being suspended in the air I fell under the map and was put into a downed state.

I've also had a friend get stuck on some scenery in their parachute and not been able to actually land. A good shooting soon helped with that though.

Game is still pretty bad for me.

First game with the new patch consisted of crashing into invisible objects and taking damage from small bumps. They said they fixed this.
Framerate is hitching like crazy currently. CQC is terrible bc of this.
Crashed my first game while driving. Crashed again bc of the inventory bug that they said the fixed.
The latency popups have mostly gone away but have been replaced by regular lag which is occurring a lot.
I keep getting controller disconnected popups even with my controller plugged in.
Hit detection is still an issue for me and my friends. One game its great the next it's really bad.
Not sure why but loading seems to be taking longer now.
The glare/new filter on the scopes is dumb.
Redzone sound lowered is great.

I shouldn't have to constantly reinstall the game in the hopes that it will run better. The patch shouldn't have been released with the severity of the bugs in it. Footstep sounds and the revive glitch are big enough that they should've held it. I don't know why pressing buttons while in your inventory or the map results in in-game actions still. I know they were aware of it and warned us but come on.

Hopefully the hotfix stabilizes the game more but it's like one step forward two steps back with their patches.


We won't be seeing this for a while but at least it's something to look forward too.

Not exactly a "fix" but I've found that FPP seems slightly more stable than TPP for some reason. It doesn't fix the glitches, the shooting through walls and the hit detection, but it all feels smoother and less bullshit for some reason. Framerate seems slightly more stable, perhaps because less things have to be shown at the same time, and you likely won't turn around as fast. But yeah, the patch didn't do a lot to me.

Great to hear, although early Spring is super vague. That could mean April. It should really mean April but has enough wiggle room to get out of it.

Also interesting to know that you can't currently shoot people out of cars. I though you could, I won't waste my bullets trying to be precise anymore. At least until they patch it.

All this sounds like positive improvements and interesting to hear they are fiddling with some of the basic settings in an effort to improve performance.

Our current model can be viewed as a vehicles body having a life bar that must be reduced before the driver can be damaged. When our update is released, players that are skillful with their shots, can pierce vehicle doors and panels, damaging enemy players and ensuring that threat is constant even for those behind the wheel.

So from the way I read this, you are basically invincible to bullets in the car until it blows up.

Now I think about it though, I've definitely been shot while driving in a car. Now I don't know what to think.

Maybe it means that any bullets that hit the car don't penetrate but any exposed part of you can be shot?

I've definitely taken damage in cars and jeeps? Maybe you could shoot through windows and that how I was getting damaged. Sounds like now if you shoot the door it will penetrate?

To put it bluntly, we are simply not satisfied with the games current console performance, and especially so during tense moments of onscreen action.

That should stop the defense force when I'm complaining about the FPS dropping to 10-15 during battles. They really need to step up and do something about it. Acknowledging bluntly is a start, but at least stable-ish 30fps should be main priority. That, connection and kill cams.

Good to know the desert map is coming soon, though.

As someone who is completely new to the game, aside from watching streams of the PC version, my problems playing on the One S so far are:
  • Frame rate needs to be locked 30 at the very least.
  • Lack of anti aliasing means there's a shimmer around almost everything which makes it hard to spot people at a distance.
  • Sounds of planes and red zones are obnoxiously loud.
  • Foliage should match across both consoles.

No you can be shot through the windows in cars currently, this is going to make it so bullets will go through car doors and hit you inside while driving.

Haven't played PUBG in awhile so I decided to give it a go last night. Got 3 wins out of 8 games. My friend and I dominated on duo's and then we brought in a 3rd friend for a final game and won that one. The MK14 continues to be my favorite gun in the game. It's an absolute beast when used right.

Frame rate is back to tanking again. It jumps back up better than last patch, but it's back under 20 for the late game.

Also i have an odd bug where hold button actions are taking at least an extra second to work. It's annoying.

I figured out how to ads earlier (why do you have to tap Left Trigger to ads: that's bizarre lol?), and I've been getting kills and got 3rd during a match.

It's finally clicking with me now.

Try Controller Type B to have it to where holding left trigger opens ADS and letting go of it closes it. More like CoD or other FPS.

I'm fine with it like it is currently, it just took me a while to figure out. I thought right bumper was to aim, but then I realised it wasn't when I found my first scope.

Resolved Issues

These are issues which were patched on the live servers among the "Scheduled To Be Fixed" category.

  • When appearance is selected in the appearance settings, it does not immediately come into effect
  • After changing the skin color using the appearance settings, the color of the face does not change
  • Players cannot vault through some windows and rails
  • Match result does not reflect on the leaderboards
  • While the map is open, pressing the d-pad switches your weapon to melee/grenade
  • Some players fail to receive BP after the match ends
  • Adjusting 4x VSS scope sensitivity does nothing
  • Some areas in the game cause the driver and passengers to take damage when driving over rough terrain
  • Players are unable to exit the vehicle if they were inside the vehicle and then rejoined the game
  • In TPP mode, the camera shakes too much if damage is inflicted
  • If a player plays in a Squad and dies, their camera stays fixed in the position where the they died rather than allowing to spectate the remaining teammates
  • When spectating your team after death, the teammate UI from before death is overlapping the current one.

The servers will be in maintenance from 5PM KST / 1AM PDT / 9AM CET in preparation for the new patch. It will take about 30 minutes.

  • Fixed repeating sounds from footsteps or when reloading Kar98k, Revolver, or Shotgun

I've only had that happen once, thankfully. Not sure what causes it.

I think had like 1 or 2 patches where it didn't happen. Luckily I realize instantly, because my console is set to Italian but I've set the game to English, so if the menu is in Italian it means my settings are lost, so I don't join a battle with the aiming options all defaulted.

Would be nice if the patches weren't so massive every time. They're basically the size of the game, aren't they?

I think you basically re-download the game every time it patches. They often haven't added anything just fiddled with whatever is already there.

That, in my limited understanding, is how it works.

Kind of annoying but it is not the only game to do this and it's not a massive download. Compare this to some of the size of the Halo 5 updates!

I play duos with a friend of mine and we have very different playstyles.

I'm far more conservative. I tend to to only engage if I feel I absolutely have to or have a really good chance to kill. I also send a lot of time crawling round the grass like a true hero. I really like crawling in the grass.

My chum, meanwhile, likes to engage much more and run towards fights, while also has a slightly worrying addiction to going for crates.

How do you lot like to play? I feel there is a real fine balance between aggression and hiding in bushes. At least to win a game. Maybe some of you play just to enojy playing and aren't on the hunt for Chicken Dinner like so many others?
