I would much rather they open with the destruction of the Nova Corps. If they do it off screen that will be really lame. Show Thanos succeed where Ronan failed. Give us five minutes of that, then the Marvel Studios logo, then do the Thor stuff.
I doubt they'll kill off the Nova Corps off screen. Im sure we'll see how Thanos destroys the planet without hesitation.

What sucks, is 1 year from now... she will probably regret not figuring out a way to make that schedule work.
A BIG role in an MCU movie pretty much guarantees sequels if you aint the badguy, and can lead to other work
(some of it outside of appearing as your MCU self in public appearances LOL)
It sucks for her and it's very unfortunate they couldn't make it work. On the other hand, Lashana Lynch has to be pretty damn happy.

Watched a Campea video and he said people thought it was baby groot grabbing Thanos' hand. I remember the 1st trailer when it was the did he punch Iron Man or Spider-Man but plz tell me people weren't stupid or blind enough to think that was Baby Groot?

I think I have watched it a million times already and then spent like half the day listening to the music from the trailer. Has anyone seen Black Panther since yesterday because I'd love to see this on the big screen.

Hawkeye is retired in his country house drinking cold Margaritas and banging his wife with no remorse whatsoever. And Ant-Man is in the trailers...it's just that he is to small to be seen. Ok I'll show myself out.

I'm surprised by this (what feels to me like) sudden groundswell of support and concern for Hawkeye. I liked him in AoU but I don't feel like I need him to show up again anytime soon.

I have this strange feeling that Hawkeye is gonna have an incredibly important albeit minor role in Infinity War. The mid-credits scene is probably gonna be him standing there with the soul stone in his hand telling you he did all this hard work while you sat and watched a movie for three hours straight.

Hawkeye IS the soul stone.

Because he is the heart and SOUL of the team.

Watching Guardians 2 now, so...many...colors.

That's a good thing

Finished Phase 1 in my MCU rewatch.

Captain America: The First Avenger is still the the best solo movie in Phase 1.

The Avengers is still amazing.

I'm rewatching the series out of order but with director(s) commentary and extras. Just finished Winter Soldier and moved onto Civil War. I really loved how genuinely excited William Hurt looked in his short interview. He seemed very intrigued by the moral questions of the comics and excited that he gets to bring them into the world and the movie.

It's crazy to me that Netflix/Spike weren't willing to work with her schedule.

I am officially out of tune with the internet I guess, because I loved Guardians 2. I can/t /shrug hard enough, oh well.

On to Ragnarok.

Some people who dont like Cape films REALLY like guardians
While a good chunk of mcu fans only like the earthbound heroes, and cant connect with the cosmic characters.

And Gunns writing is hit-or-miss, so some might think their corny.

It's only got 83% fresh and 88% audience score....Trash I tell you!

I said the internet. Most of the posts I see about that movie is that it isnt very good, isnt very funny, is worse than the first etc.

Also, Ragnarok is by far the best MCU movie (and im a huge Marvel and MCU fanboy), and its not even close. that shit was fucking amazing and now I desperately need to watch that vampire comedy.

I dunno, I've seen plenty of people saying the think the first GotG was better. But not a lot of outright saying GotG 2 is downright bad

Something people miss with Ragnarok is within the span of lke 2 days he's had to deal with hela and Thanos. Loses his home then they get washed by the black order.

Damn.
