Really ? I find her boring and she can't stop pouting

The lingering shots on her face don't help

I mean, yeah she's distractingly attractive, but wow Ruby is incredibly creepy.

She plays a sociopath extremely well, evidenced by her conversation with Von Strucker and her mother afterward.

I did notice in the von Strucker bedroom scene her lips seemed to have doubled in size.

Seriously
Everytime she's up close you can hear the director screaming "LOOK AT HER LIPS LOOK AT THEM"

So it wasn't just me lmfao

I mean, yeah she's distractingly attractive

I didn't see it until this episode tbh

but wow Ruby is incredibly creepy.

I always saw this though lol

Someone convince me that they're gonna bring Ward back somehow.

They're going to bring back Ward somehow. Strucker might be Taskmaster, but Ward won't give up that theory of him taking up the mantle without a fight.

Are there two or three episodes after Infinity War? Could this all be a build tht gets cut off when Thanos starts wrecking things?

There will be an episode on the night Infinity War releases and three more episodes after that. They're in a bit of a rough place here and I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to wait until a potential season 6 to respond to Infinity War.

First, as the movie was only recently moved up by a week so if they were planning to have the movie impact the show at the end of the season, they likely planned it around having two episodes after the film releases, not three.

Second, as they likely won't know if they're renewed until they are finished or close to finishing filming on the finale, they need to wind down this season's plot while also giving closure in case the series ends. Adding in an Infinity War tie-in might be too much.

Third, based on the Avengers 4 set photos, Infinity War could end with...

all of reality and time being completely screwed.

And if that's the case, that's a lot for the writers to bring in for 2-3 episodes on top of their own story.

So I don't think any of should be surprised if the show's reaction to Infinity War is in a potential season 6. Fingers crossed on that one.

I forgot...what exactly did Jemma say that made Deke realize that her and Fitz are his grandparents?

As long as they don't confiscate phones at the panel Saturday, I'll update this thread live to whatever they say and if anything not stupid comes up in the Q&A.

Did they specifically say how much time passed between the crew's abduction at the diner and their return to the present? We can assume they were gone for at least the half year Fitz was imprisoned, but any longer than that?

The phrase his mom used to say to him that she said she learned from her mother

A big thanks to CopperPuppy and H. Cornerstone for answering my question, but the question I should have asked was why Jemma's words made Deke realize that she's his grandma, so thanks for that, Evil.

Did they specifically say how much time passed between the crew's abduction at the diner and their return to the present? We can assume they were gone for at least the half year Fitz was imprisoned, but any longer than that?

I feel like Hale or someone mentioned something about them being completely off the radar for 3 (or 6?) months. Maybe not within that time frame, but I feel like someone has mentioned it on-screen.

Speaking of which; are we still expecting to see current Fitz die, only to see frozen Fitz become unfrozen? I think a good way to do that would be to have Deke think he shouldn't exist anymore, but then it would lead to him realizing that Fitz might still be alive somewhere.

Shortly before that scene he saw an apparition of his mother saying those same words, with her mentioning how it's what her mother would tell her

As near as timeline enthusiasts can tell, the SHIELD team was abducted sometime in May 2017 and returned to their own time in early December 2017. So yeah, it's been about a six-month time jump.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has cast onetime Legend of the Seeker baddie Craig Parker in the role of Taryan, a formidable wheeler-dealer from another planet.

Parker will debut on the ABC series toward the end of Season 5. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues its season this Friday at 9/8c, with Episode 14 of 22.

It occurs to me: where are Hunter and Robin? If it hasn't been long since Fitz was put on ice then they should both still be around.

Just watched a clip from this week's ep. Wow.

Good Fitz meets Evil Fitz from the Framework!

Haha, holy shit :D

They really do use Fitz as this universe's Reed Richards, in all the right ways. Can't wait for it, even if it might just be another fear dimension illusion.

edit can't stop watching it lol. The "There's WORK that needs to be finished" delivery is so fucking good.

So is Gravitron finally making an appearance this season?! It's like the one thread they haven't closed, but it certainly looks like they're dancing around it now...

I'm sure getting attacked by phantoms is fun and all but how about finding a new base til you figure things out?
