Man, Gaines for $4m is a bargain, Beane got fucking played in this market. Holy shit did he fucking overspend, and completely miss the market. Brutal year 1. More teams should have been in on Gaines, he's pretty solid, very much a zone two deep corner but he was super solid last year. Bet there are health issues that scared teams away, only explanation, the DB FA market just died after it opened hot.
