The sound mixing is broken in this game if i turn my back to a talking person it is much louder in the rear speakers than if i look at them directly. I play on Xbox One X i also switched the spoken Language from German to English and have the same problem. The worst thing is that you only have Master Volume in the Audio option menu.
Loving it but it is ridiculous how you cannot go 30 seconds without enemies approaching you. Honestly feels like the omniscient cops from GTA V when you are wanted and in the middle of nowhere

So I want to unlock Grace. When I get to the church, nothing happens. I kill a bunch of cultist, and that's it... where is she? Why won't the mission starts?

Tried that and nobody's there. I think it is bugged. Atonement unlocked for me, but haven't done it yet, still doing story and side stuff... is this why? Maybe I need to take care of john first?
Idk I played the game on Hard and just flew up to John and shot him down in about 20 seconds without him being able to shoot back. Didn't even need Nick.
Joseph was the only boss who actually killed me.
Also, I went John > Jacob > Faith, since that seemed logical. Jacob was definitely the highlight for me so I might suggest it last. They tie in the recurring capture mechanic in a way that is vastly more interesting than any other boss so doing it last may actually be more effective since by then you are so accustomed to it.
And yes, I definitely want to see a spoiler thread for this game's ending. It warrants one.
Wow didn't realize John's boss fight was suppose to be hard. I called Nick hopped in the plain and shot it down. I don't think Nick really did anything.
I just bought the game on X1X last night and I was really happy to see that the game was about 30% downloaded and it said "Ready to Start". I thought that meant it would just let me load up the main menu and nothing else but decided to start it up just to see. Much to my surprise, I was able to play the entire first area of the game while the rest of it was downloading! How awesome is that? I played for like an hour and a half before I completed that first little island and the game let me know it needed to download the rest, which it was nearly finished doing.
I wish more games did this! It felt like I got to jump in pretty quickly and get immersed. So far, so great. I'm really enjoying it.
It's kinda terrible in a way. You just do awesome emergent shit until you reach a milestone in resistance points. Every little thing. kind of builds up that Resistance bar in each region...Then
you get kidnapped at every major milestone in those bars, of which there are around 4 in each region. Seriously, you get captured around 12-15 in the damn story. And you can't dodge it.
The missions themselves are pretty wild and varied. But the way the story flows is horrid. Which is a shame because the antagonists and their writing is really good stuff. But the lead up to these moments is just absurd. It's not that big a slight on the game. It's still a fantastic romp, but man that just grated me in the wrong way.
Perk points are now tied to challenge milestones. Like weapon kills, Guns for Hire kills etc. It's really fun and makes you mix things up often.
Question: there hasn't been too much Arcade talk yet, and I wasn't really paying attention on the main menu (don't have it in front of me, either), but is the only way into Arcade from one of the actual arcade machines in-game?
It's weird they would let this happen after Far Cry 2. I they had figured it out in Far Cry 3 and 4, but in this game it's madness - it won't just be one car - I've had 3 come quickly one after the other.
So much of this game feels untuned. Emergent gameplay is great, but it needs a guiding hand.
Can you unlock challenges in Arcade? If so I'm going to make a level populated with Bald Eagles because i've been searching for over an hour and can't find any. Even in the marked area on the map.

Thanks! Shame there is not a key for it but not a huge deal. I wasn't a huge fan of the 3 round burst on the MP5 so this is awesome to know I can change it.
