just tried attempt 2 at gamestop to trade in my xbox one(earlier it wouldnt connect to their wifi), and it worked flawlessly this time. Got my finalized receipt, now for the slowest 3 hours of my life
I finally got my shipment notification. Coming in on Thursday. I can certainly wait.

Someone pulled the trigger on my 2tb S on Amazon for $258, not bad. Makes the upgrade not so bad at all. Also sold super bomberman for $33.

Ordered online from Gamestop, decided I couldn't wait, so I went and called 8 stores and finally found one with a project Scorpio edition, went and paid for it, now I pick up at 11pm, will return the mail order tomorrow, and I took off work tomorrow... good times:)

Went to Game stop to pay off my pre prior to midnight launch and 30 people already came in to pay off. Manager said he anticipates 60 people pick up systems tonight if not more. This same game stop had 20 ps4 for launch, 15 Xbox One and 14 Pros for its launch. He said the 60 is what he anticipates coming in tonight and a lot tomorrow. That is nuts.
So Stallion83 was showing that games loaded faster from his internal X harddrive than an external one. Now I'm kinda worried. Will have to test Witcher 3 on both internal and external
Seagate game drive. They're apparentlky 5400.
I have a seagate that reads 5900 ish with test. Apparently, seagate don't buy into rpms being sole factor to measure harddrive speed.
Yeah, your not going to see much throughput out of a 5400 drive. Would be a better test with a 7200 or better yet, SSD drive

(1) Have we received any specific information on its X patch, beyond Dark1x's comment generally praising its implementation?
(2) Given his comment, I want to get the game for X. However, I just received a physical copy for my PS4 Pro via an Amazon preorder through Prime. Does anyone have enough experience with Amazon to say if they would let me return the physical PS4 copy in exchange for a digital code for Xbox? Never really dealt with Amazon customer service, but I have heard of many good experiences.

sucks because i bought a 4TB a couple of weeks ago to prep for launch but it now appears i chose poorly.
if anyone is reading this, avoid the seagates. I got an email from their offices explaining they dont measure performance my rpm anymore and that any number of seagate expansion harddrives you find in stores have their harddrives randomly picked from their warehouse before getting enclosed in a case and shipped to retail. So one hdd can run 7200 and another, like mine, may read 5900 or even 5400.
I've had nothing but good things when returning items to Amazon. Simple as going to your orders screen and clicking on return Item. Then print out the UPS info and ship it back.

I'm just particularly curious if they would give me a digital code before they received the physical copy (perhaps unlikely). And I'm unsure how my reception of a digital code for The Freedom Chronicles complicates things.

You can order the digital copy ... just keep in mind that Amazon won't credit your card until they receive the return.
Super excited for this. Played it yesterday on OG XB1 and legit could have passed it for a 360 game... and no that's not me being hyperbolic unfortunately. Have heard it's almost like a "generational bump" on XB1X compared to regular.
Ordered from Gamestop, too. Mine looks to be delivering tomorrow as well, and that's after having been shipped across the country this morning. Good stuff. Earlier Gamestop sent me an email saying delivery by Wednesday.

Which game is considered to be the most impressive visually? I'm going to pick up one more title and want the biggest bang for my buck after dropping $550 on this damn thing. I'm personally very interested in Wolfenstein, but also am curious about Origins.
With all this hype what are the possibilities that we can see next gen console launch sales #s?
Forza 7 should be the most visually impressive but AC: Origins, Gears 4 enhanced and Wolfenstein II are all stunning games.
I'd love to know more about this, too. I thought I read the $150 deal for 1TB XB1 S started today, but Gamestop's website lists a lower amount. Anyone know if it's begun, and how long it will last?

Out of all my games, the one i want to play most is Forza 7 and it wont boot. Just keeps saying taking to long to start. I have now deleted the game and re installing. This better work.
A hard reset of the console usually fixes that instead of deleting the game :s
Anyone's gamestop online order see any movement besides a label and tracking generated? Seems odd that they'd try to push so many consoles overnight/same day. Why not start rolling them out already?
Nope. I'm pissed. First time I've bought anything from GameStop in like 3 years. Got a BS tracking number last Thursday, but the only thing they've done is created the label and not sent my system to UPS...
Aren't 7200rpm external drives kind of rare? And the ones that do exist are much more expensive and/or lower capacity.

Makes sense why is damn impossible to see the specs on sites like Amazon. They are manufactured, then shrugged off into packages without a care, silly.
just called Walmart says he has 3 extras with no one in line. Said I should probably show up at 11:30 PM and they will sell it to me at midnight and I have a chance if no other 3 people are in line by then.
