I imagine Cannon and Bag have a chance card. Lets call them C1-12. Since both tokens are on the square still, we can remove some possibilities from the pool. Not C2, nor C3. Possible that Train landed on chance and got C9. Possible that Rockhorse rolled the same and got C10. If we wanna, can check for C12.
Exactly what I was thinking... Can't see how they would get to Mayfair otherwise.
Horse definitely landed on chance and got the card, there is no way you can reach Mayfair on turn 1. Meanwhile there are 2 cards that seemingly do nothing, the Bank Error and the Crossword competition.

I'm not 100% convinced discussing/speculating who got what chance card is going to be beneficial for town, though. If the tokens that got the chance cards were town, then this discussion is most likely only going to help scum. If the tokens that got those cards were scum though, it would help town, but there's no way to surely know.
It is the opinion of this comrade that wild speculation is for the good of the proletariat and beneficial to the revolution. There is much to learn in this madness and to encourage ignorance is to bow down in front of the market and lick the feet of the capitalist pigs. I believe basic education about the state of the world should be required for all proles.

Yup. It's no doubt going to be critical to understand the board and card mechanics, but by that same token, it's going to be even easier for people to feign town play by focusing solely on that aspect of the game- especially without any concrete information beyond player positions.

The unvote was due to Kyan appearing, since the vote was a poke vote. I didn't re-vote at that point because I had a talking point of Kyan in my mind more. But you're right, I should have re-voted, which I'll do now.

I'd suggest others to put their initial vote too.
I think that only means all tokens move at the beginning of the day phase, so everyone moves together and no one player will be able to stay in the same spot.

On a side note, this is actually pretty similar to a game I've been designing so I'm curious to see how this plays out. It also does hidden identities of icons on a map and random roles.
Huh. I didn't consider that asking for people to vote would potentially out that, but you are right, it would do that.
I'll rescind that suggestion for now. But it opens up an interesting question - some people might say that don't want to vote at all under the guise that it would out the player with that chance card.

Just wondering what the harm is for the playing involved or town if he tells us now that he can't vote today. I don't think it something best saved for day end. Not voting at all and keeping quiet about it has no use either.
I mean it blocks you from voting, people gonna notice.
That information is 100% NAI and won't help town in any way. Revealing they got that card narrows down the possibilities for their identity on the board, which is not something town should be concerned with right now. Knowing someone ended up with that card, scum can focus elsewhere during the day phase.
Scum has reasons to identify and fear those who got cards; town doesn't.
