Perhaps this is the year Aaron Judge comes back to earth a bit. The sophomore slump, I think they call it.
His stuff looked good. He made some mistakes, but I see the talent.
We generally give new seasons, of almost any sport, a 3 or 4 week period in Etc. to keep it in the spotlight before being moved to Hangouts.

Mets are also home, and also playing in division. Wonder if they'll play tonight.
Brewers next three series are against the Cardinals, the Cubs, and then the Cardinals again. And then there's a four game series against the Cubs at the end of the month.

Yankees start was 1:05 Mets at 7:10 it's almost like time makes a difference with weather. Bizarre!
he's not going to sophomore slump, but his power numbers will come down a bit and he's due for a regression in BA as well.

I'm ok with this, I'm going to see the Mets next Friday and if this pushes the rotation back a day I should see deGrom instead of Matz
I don't know why we are doing this since Miguel Almonte had a great spring and looked to be turning a corner.
I guess they think they can pull him through waivers since he's injured, but why not put him on the 60 Day DL or pick someone else they can sneak through waivers more easily?

I can do that with batters but it's harder with pitchers. When an arm is el sucko all spring it's hard to believe a calendar change is a sudden fix. It has to take a while longer before they get their act together.

I'm tripping out. I have the Brewer game on in the background, and I'm hearing the Boston TV team? I keep expecting the guy to yell "HERE COMES THE PIZZA" but... it's a Brewer game.

Man I really hate the trend of drawing out the strike zone on the screen that broadcasters are doing. I want as little shit as possible and everyone is doing so good with their minamilast clean score bugs. I also really hate scoreboard tickers during live events but that's an argument for another time.
