I think these drama loaded reality shows only show the worst side of anyone. Throwing the FGC into one is a bad way to popularize it IMO. It'll only show the worst sides of it....especially with clickbait flame speech Low Tier God at the helm.

LTG is worst than anybody on Cross Assault. If they just let anything happen it has potential to be a lot worse and set the FGC public spotlight back several years.
What is worse about LTG? I mean, the bar has been set pretty high already with the things Aris said and did, which was textbook, unrelenting sexual harassment.
Too bad the FGC is really good at protecting it's own no matter the shit they get into. It's always been favouring maintaining personal relationships over dissociating from known bad actors for the sake of the reputation/perception/welcoming-ness of the community.
You should actually watch some LTG videos. Particularly the one with BrolyLegs involved and then come back and tell me with a straight face that Aris is worse than that.
Max deserves to be broken for defending such a garbage game like MvCI, even after half of his fanbase unsubbed to his channel while other fighting game fans called him a shill, thanks to that one video he posted last year before release. Also, fuck him for purchasing Dante's Donte costume (since he liked DmC) in that game as well.
There are much better fighting games such as its predecessor MvC3/UMvC3, SFV, Tekken 7, Soul Calibur VI, etc. than that trash anyways. Oh, wait doesn't Max hate SFV and MvC3 as well? Then forget it.

Max doesn't "hate" anything, really. That's not Max's speed. He built his channel and is a figure in the scene at all because of all the work he put into Marvel 3, but that games online problems were hard to take for a streamer and YouTuber.
Marvel Infinite is such a cluster-fuck, but the scene is fucked more than even that game. How you gonna send death threats over "I like the gameplay, I don't like the aesthetic or roster and the stuff around the game gets me down". It's the least extreme position you could possibly take.

Me either he seems like a generally positive dude. Not really a fan of his streams but he has good breakdowns and critiques on things quite often.

He threw the FGC under the bus pretty emphatically on NeoGAF and then came to us, hat in hand, to help him promote his youtube channel once Capcom commissioned him for the Assist Me series. Admittedly, he's done more harm than good for the community since then, and he's not a bad guy, but I find it hard to let that go.
