That's not too bad.

It wil drop to under 50 before long I think. I dunno about these wheels. May just trade them for keys again and wait for white reeverb to drop. They are just a cleaner, larger wheels.
I hope so, people are asking for the equivalent of 90 keys for it.
Yeah....that won't stay that high for too long. Will probably take a while to hit under 50 though. The state of trading is just a pain. Too many "career traders" They try and buy up everything at lowball prices influencing other buyers to lowball and then do the same on the high end. I'm usually the one who takes a loss cause people just don't give anymore.
After the Switch performance patch and the option to always play music, I found my way back to RL after a few months of never playing. Switch performance remains iffy (handheld feels a lot better but docked still feels awful), but still, I spent my afternoon playing a bunch of Rumble/Chaos, and I have the itch to keep playing for the first time in ages.
It's well beyond a moot point by now, but In a post-Fortnite world, it's increasingly frustrating that no progression carries across platforms. If I could have a single account instead of being split between PS4, Steam and Switch, I'd be roughly 10000% more likely to actually get into seasonal play and everything. Even in the last few hours, the fact that all the seasonal currency I've earned and the few competitive matches I've played won't carry across to PS4 (my primary platform) and Steam kind of kills my desire to keep making progress on any platform.

Holy moly, PSN download speeds are killing me tonight.

I play Rocket League excessively, but never bought any keys. Just won the Decryptors and used them up, never even traded.
So I imagine there are quite a few things that are worth trading. :D
btw does somebody else has this weird bug that his rank is not shown after the match? I just have that X instead of my rank for the most time and it happened right after the update.
First time in month that I'm Diamond I and nobody can see it. :/

Gold is the worst because people think they're good, but don't see the errors they are making and THINK they see the errors teammates are making. Platinum is pretty similar, but at least most have competency to make the hits and can read the field a little better and know what a rotation should look like.

Playing ranked? What tier? I haven't had that happen in a while... but yeah that sucks. Sitting in goal the whole time doesn't help.
Any tips on how to consistently get a ball off the wall so you can air dribble it? This is what I know but I'm not having much luck (usually 1/10 attempts work)
Most of the time I'm either overshooting my position once I'm in the air, or the ball doesn't separate from the wall enough.
- Match the speed of the ball as it's rolling up the wall - I'll start boosting right before I hit/jump for that initial momentum
- Make sure I'm not connecting with the ball on the wall with just one wheel - I should have the nose of the car fully meet the ball
- Approach the ball with a near 90' degree angle - with a slight deviation in the direction of the enemy goal

There are some really good custom training things that people have made. I'd try browsing through the list until you find a good one and favourite it (if you haven't done so already). I don't think you really need to boost just before you make contact (assuming you've matched the speed already), though I'm no expert at it.
This doesn't work in 2018 unless your name is literally 1 of 10 people or your opponents are trash.
Don't do this in 2018 there's better shots (redribbling it, double tapping if they dont respect you redribbling, etc)
Air dribbles usually just put you out of the play too long off walls nowadays. Talked about this with a blue name friend for like 20m and we both agreed we never do it anymore without good reason.

No worries. It lit a fire under my ass an I finally made the order for a new proper controller (PDP 3rd party Xbone controller). This steam controller has just been such an execution hindrance.
Here's to hoping it was like training with weight attached to my chassis/wheels and the new controller will get me back where I think I should be.

Does the game keep crashing for anyone else? I literally can't play, a few seconds after getting into any match (even training) the game freezes, the audio disappears, and then after a while it crashes to the home menu.
The thing is that I just got a replacement PS4 Pro from Sony, because my last one had graphical artifacts in games. This one doesn't have that issue, but now I'm starting to think they've given me one that's busted in some other way.

I get more lag now than ever before and my rank is still not showing. I play on Switch.
Well, some lag is better than the game completely freezing, resulting in a matchmaking ban because I "left" the match.
Okay, it does eventually crash from the main menu too, just took a bit longer. So I guess this replacement Pro is fucked, just like the last one. How nice...
