This may be a dumb question, but does anyone know if both the GoTY editions of Oblivion and Fallout 3 are also X enhanced or is just the original versions?
Picture time! Who knows when it will be until another console launch!
Still only got of ps4 but same here. Hardware is pretty damn good right now. Still wish switch mobile was 1080p atleast but oh well...
Digital Foundry are reporting some weird stuff with TitanFall 2's Scorpio patch, looks like it might take a little while to get the most out of the system:
If I had a 4K TV system, I'd probably be jumping on this. As it stands, I'm holding off for a while yet. My original PS4 is still doing well and most Xbox exclusives are available on PC anyway.
I don't really mind average sounding fans, but cannot stand coil whine, like my old C-chassis PS4. I'm not seeing any reports of that happening so far (touch wood) so I think I'll be fine when I get my X!Playing now straight for 6 hours Origins. The console makes slight constant fan noise. Nothing bad. Just abit like a laptop makes. Doesnt go up or down like crazy.
Heat seems fine also. On top and at the back are warm but not hot. So seems like the cooling is working fine. Console is place on top of a table with alot of room arround it and i am located 1 meter from it.
Received my Scorpio Edition earlier today and it is glorious! Assassins Creed Origins, Halo 5 and Ninja Gaiden Black are legit blowing my mind.
Wow, that's a nice setup.
I'm sure this has been asked, but the thread is moving along pretty quickly. Anyone experience any screen dropouts (going black, then coming back a few seconds later)? I still have this issue on PS4 Pro, on my LG B6, and it's annoying as hell. I want to see if Microsoft has cleaned up the HDCP handshake issues. If so, I'll gladly pick up an X.
This game is the odd one out tho. And likely a bug with the scaling. Respawn are looking into it. :)
Don't forget to download Microsoft's free Insects demo - which shows off 4K, HDR and Spatial Audio tech. Great way of showing the benefit of 4K HDR screens - you can split screen, highlight and disable features to show what they do.
I'd like to know as well. I couldn't find it in the store...
found it by searching the MS store online
I had to find it through the Microsoft store online and have it pushed to my console. It wasn't showing up when trying to find it on the Xbox One Store for some reason.
Yes. The option to choose to download 4k assets is also gone on the X from the settings menu. :)
I've my ps4pro also hooked up to the LG B6 but never experienced any screen dropouts ...neither on the one X , only played for a couple of hours tho.
U sure its a HDCP handshake problem ?
So I bought an Xbox One X because I liked the idea of having a console with Dolby Atmos support. I also bought Tomb Raider to test it out and I was very disappointed to see that there's horrible audio lag with the system. Is this a known issue? I adjusted my Samsung HWK950 to have the least amount of audio delay as possible but it seems like there's still over 100 ms of delay. :(
I was tempted to get an XOX to sit alongside my PRO but the lack of exclusives means I really cannot justify it.
I think in around 5 years time Microsoft will be a player again but right now they feel akin to Dreamcast era Sega...
Hey guys got mine delivered here in uk so amazon hve yet to miss day one for me!!
Quick question, what is the name of the track in forza 7 that best shows off hdr and 4k. The one in the promo shots and in the demo?? Want to play it!!
Alright making sure. Also, is there a way to set it do that I can take a quick screenshot without having to use the home button?Yes. The option to choose to download 4k assets is also gone on the X from the settings menu. :)
There's a chance that your TV doesn't support HDCP2.2 which would explain why the XB1X kicks down to 1080p.So I'm baffled at the moment, I'm not super great at understanding A/V stuff so I could just not fundamentally understand some portion of my setup or not realize that it isn't supported. But I'm trying to watch Planet Earth 2 in 4k on UHD right now using my Xbox One X I just set up. But it keeps displaying in 1080p.
The main menu of the Xbox states it's in 2160p when I check my TV info settings, but when I switch over to the blu-ray app it immediately bumps back down to 1080p.
My TV is an older 4k TV and doesn't support HDR, but it says it supports 4k 60HZ and I currently have my Xbox One X plugged directly into the supported port on the TV.
This is the "video details" page on my Xbox One X right now, which it does say it should be able to play 4k Movies, so I'm really confused right now. Does anyone have any insight for me?
