Man it would have been cool if Mattel had made the raft from the Universal ride as a park exclusive or something.
Maybe pack it with a water dinosaur of some kind.

Thanks! Just watched some reviews on YouTube, and yeah, what they said matches those prices. Definitely gonna have to pick them all up, then. I'm so used to buying $20+ figures in other lines, so it's nice to see stuff that's cool and way more affordable.
Even Star Wars around that size and price has none of the articulation and rarely decent accessories, I think i'll be really happy with them as long as I can get humans with decent paint apps on their face.

Went to Target, nothing was out so I gave them the DCPI # for legacy humans and the dude brought out a case of Owen saying it was all they had....
2nd Target wouldn't break tomorrow's date so I guess im trying both again tomorrow.

I don't know what my country is going to get or when. Usually it receives really random things which can be from left overs to sometimes the hard to get figures are all released here and they just shelf warm. Sadly I think that massive t-rex is going to cost easily nearly 3 times as much as in the US.

My wishlist is short. Alan Grant, some blind bag figures and the Giant T-Rex. I don't even have room for the giant T-Rex but I just feel like it's now or never.

Went to walmart and toys r us. No Jurassic Park stuff here still. Though it did seems like walmart was prepping for it. Lots of empty space.

Grant at the very least should be easy and cheap to get 2nd hand if it doesn't make retail there, he is the overpacked figure apparently(4 Grants for every 1 Sattler and 1 Muldoon)

Its different for every merchandise run really.
Legacy collection stuff is 100% dated for tomorrow at least, I saw the case myself with a sticker that said
"Do not stock before April 16th 2018"

Wow, my country's walmart actually has the T-Rex for American MSRP so I think I may get it, but damn, that's too god damn big.

I lke the 2" figures but they're too expensive for what they are. I'll just wait for Grant which I'm sure my country will get and Rex Grant Plushie which I'm guessing will not ;(

I think I'm gonna need a new display solution pretty soon. Don't even know how I'm gonna fit that Control Room Lego set once it's built. Any thoughts? There's an ikea about 45 minutes away I could hit up.

You're gonna need a bigger shelf :P

I am too! Mattel is killing it already, considering they had little prep time and even with that known, pretty much everything is an improvement from the horrid Hasbro line.

Also, love seeing your collection. I hope more people post their JP collections as well. Once I'm done cleaning, I'll post pics of mine.

That would be awesome!

It always seemed like a missed opportunity when Kenner never came out with a raft toy set or something from the old JP line. By series II, they had gone off the rails with some pretty cooky characters and weapons, so why not do a raft?

Gonna check Walmart once again today for toys. Would love to get some of the legacy line.

Thoughts?

I always prefer your edits to what we get. I'm just not a fan of the color grading and some of the CG decisions on look.

Off topic, but was pretty cool seeing the JW Trex model in ready player one.

No disrespect to you or other artists but I dislike when fan made stuff shows up right after a trailer is shown, people on that movie worked hard and that is their artistic vision only to have it changed by fans, I would be furious if that happened to my movie.

Going to check Target in a bit myself, definitely getting Grant and a Jeep asap,
Ellie and Muldoon at some point.

Tempted to get the multipack with Grant though because I really like that green raptor, otherwise I will pick up the Lost World version.

The JP set is Walmart exclusive.

No wonder I couldn't for the life of me find it in my system lol.

At least there's a Walmart literally across the street from my Target, lol. Brickseek says they have three. Gonna be sad not using that 15% though... and shit, $40? Thought it was $30-35. Of course fucking Walmart would get the thing I want most, lol.

Walmart has their Legacy Lego set on this page. But the page to get it doesn't actually work.
https://www.walmart.com/search/?query=jurassic park lego&cat_id=0

However, it's up on the Lego website as well.
https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Jurassic-Park-Velociraptor-Chase-75932

This is the only lego set I want from this line.
Do you (or anyone else) know if the brick and mortar Lego Store will have these? My Walmart hasn't set any Jurassic stuff yet.

Edit: never mind, the Walmart app let me buy it for pickup today.

Also bought Grant and all the little Matchbox stuff from Target. Wanted more, but I'll have to wait until the next paycheck. Can't justify more atm.

There's good detail in the sculpt, but damn the proportions are horrible. The head is so big compared to the torso. The way they sectioned it looks weird too.

The Carno looks excellent.

Walmart put up the toys. Sadly no humans though. Are those coming later? Also the Trex is awesome do to the sheer size of it. Though I don't want the damage battle version. Since it's mainly just painted damage and it looks kinda dumb.

Just went to Walmart and they had 3 (2 now since I got one myself)

That Carno is definitely one of my favorite Dino toys. I think only the Super Colossal and Legacy rexes I would rank higher, and that's most due to them being rexes, lol. I would probably get the Carno now, but completing the Legacy line takes precedence atm. :P

Looking at them in person. Pretty much any of the carnivores in the $14.99 and up range I think look great. Besides the Trex unless it's the collosal (I like the rex being bigger than the rest)

Cant see myself buying any Dinos until I get human characters though. So I gotta check target for the legacy set. I really want those.

I put together a little buying guide for the toys - it's not fully complete (due to many website only having partial listings) but it may help with hunting!

I can't remember if Jurassic World had this much toys leading up to the movie.

Right now it feels like a flood of toys.

Hasbro wasnt sure what to expect from JW. I remember universal sent out a memo to about how big the brand was going to be after the movie but all the merchandise we saw for the movie indicated they thought at best it would do alright. I know on forums including neogaf people said it would bomb so hard. They never expected the film to outdo avengers and give star wars 7 a run for it's money .

This time they know and so did the licensesl .

Even then it doesn't really excuse how poorly Hasbro's entire output was,
JP3 line wasn't great but still had the basic understanding of a JP line.

Definately helpful! Just grabbed a Carno off Amazon since it's at MSRP. Looks like a lot of the Amazon ones have inflated prices from third parties, so will need to look in stores for the others I want. Walmart is also selling out fast too, it seems :/
