Wow, that sucks.

Pretty much a lose-lose scenario. However much Crawford is being an ass, both him and Wayans do have good chemistry (on-screen) and can't see Riggs being anyone else. Or anyone else where the show would still be as enjoyable.

But there is no way he can continue to be Riggs with how he is acting, and everyone else doesn't deserve having to deal with his childish behavior. Or even have another character besides Riggs. I just don't see it working well.

As I said, a lose-lose scenario. Such a shame, it's a great show. :(

Sons of Anarchy was the worst offender, as mentioned. It felt like those extra minutes went into an extra montage or super indulgent scene rather than story, haha.

I used to really look forward to seeing longer episodes since it potentially meant it was more important or carried a bigger story point. But now, when a good number of shows are doing it, it's less special.

Sounds better than The Walking Dead where the extra time seem to go to stuffing it with more ads.

My sentiments exactly. It's a shame considering it's one of the few network shows I enjoy.

I have to admit, I got a thrill when I saw this headline in Feedly last night.

She is 1000% correct. I don't even know if I'll ever watch the season 2 premiere of Westworld. That shit doesn't need to be any longer than 45 minutes.

Feeling the same way. Legion & WestWorld are two shows where I love all the style & design in them, but they would be so much better served by tighter time constraints.

A source tells TVLine that studio Warner Bros. is considering recasting Clayne's Martin Riggs role — possibly with a female — to play opposite Damon Wayans' Roger Murtaugh in a potential fourth season.
Yeah, it's dead. It's too bad he's such a piece of shit... maybe it's method acting for him. :p

'The Bridge' Heads To Asia After Endemol Shine Strikes Deal With SVOD Service Viu
The Bridge, the Scandinavian drama that spawned the eponymous Diane Kruger-fronted series for FX, is getting an Asian adaptation after SVOD service Viu commissioned a remake.

The deal, with Endemol Shine Group, marks the fifth local version of the crime drama, following remakes set in the U.S./Mexico, UK/France, Germany/Austria and Russia/Estonia.
That's insane, and also inaccurate since I already posted news about the fifth remake a while back, this is the sixth version. So that leaves us with:
Bron | Broen, the original set around Öresund bridge between Sweden-Denmark. Recently airied its fourth and final season.
The Bridge, the US remake set around the Bridge of the Americas (El Paso–Ciudad Juárez). Cancelled after two seasons.
The Tunnel, the UK/France remake set around the Channel Tunnel. Has aired 3 seasons in the UK, will air its third season later this year in France. No word on a fourth season yet.
Мост, the Russian remake set around the Narva Friendship Bridge on the Russo-Estonian border over the Narva River. Aired its first season in 2017, couldn't find word on whether or not it has been renewed.
Der Pass, the German remake set around "the mountainous border" between Germany and Austria. Currently filming, will air in 2018/2019.
Unnamed Serbia-Croatia version.
Unnamed(?) Malaysia-Singapore version, to air later this year.

The funny part is it's all a rip-off of the true original Canadian movie "Bon Cop, Bad Cop".

Haha, that's wild. Bron/Broen bringing in the adaptation money! Can't wait for the sci-fi version of an international space station with a bridge connector murder (I made this as a joke, but now I REALLY want this to exist).

Seems like no one can play the fucked up, crazy Riggs without being that kind of person in real life. Mel Gibson was (is) as much of an asshole.

Wait, a potential 'fourth' season? Is that a typo? It hasn't even been renewed for season three yet.

The Good Fight isn't mentioned in the article, I would assume the rest of this season will still be on The W Network?

Amazon Prime has streaming rights for The Good Fight (after the W Network airs it) and Star Trek Discovery is on Crave TV. But once contracts expire on all of the streaming places I'm sure all of their stuff will end up under that one roof along with new stuff moving forward, but it may take a good while.

It's weird, I think Unreal is probably worst than Silicon Valley but it doesn't make me angry. Maybe it's because I've realized there's no hope for the show.

I still enjoy UnREAL. In my opinion though it's a huge mistake to premiere two seasons in one year.

They filmed season 3 in Summer 2016 and season 4 in Summer 2017, and premiered season 3 in February (with the finale being yesterday) and apparently are premiering season 4 in the Fall.

Rachel finally left the UnREAL show for good though which is one good thing I can say for season 3. There's been this kind of back and forth on that for the longest time so I'm glad the writers finally decided they wanted her to not be on the team. The plot synopsis of season 4 says Rachel is going to be a contestant for Everlasting but she won't be a producer.

Isn't Season 4 going to be Unreal in Paradise or something? Have no idea how they are going to pull that off considering they put zero effort about portraying Vancouver as LA. It seems like an intentional joke at this point given how often they are just filming int he pouring rain with they breath fogging.

Monday night's ratings. American Idol and The Voice are getting neck-and-neck now. Also, that episode of Living Biblically is actually a repeat episode of TBBT, in case you were wondering how its ratings bounced up to a 1.0:

Great news about Jack Ryan. Still sad it's a long, long wait till August when it sounds like they could have dropped it around now (the first season, I mean), but a second season announcement makes up for that!

lol that spoiler. Wow. I guess why not.
Honestly I was just expecting it to be a full reboot again ala Silicon Valley so at least that's something.

No, it's supposed to be an all stars season where it's people from past seasons of Everlasting, half guys and half girls and they choose who they want to date. It's not a reboot.

I believe it's based off that Bachelor in Paradise sexual assault allegations scandal that was all over the news last year.

Oh I meant reset, where everything goes back to square one and no characters evolve or change because it's easier to tell the same story over and over again.
Honestly I expected another season of Rachel being dumb and Quinn manipulating people.

Sony Crackle to Develop Sci-Fi Series Based on the Joseph Conrad novel 'Heart of Darkness'
The project is set in the future where Earth is a distant memory. It is described as an exploration of what it means to be human on a space odyssey where the survival of the human race hangs in the balance and will explore themes of race, immigration, and colonization much like the book.
...
Cameron Litvack serves as writer as well as showrunner. He will executive produce along with Branden Morgan and Tony Giglio.
Oh Crackle you're so zany. (though honestly I can see a sci-fi adaptation of Heart of Darkness working quite well... on some other platform)

Speeeaaaaking of Crackle

Sony Crackle GM Says Its Ad Cuts Have TV Networks "Suddenly Following"

Sony Crackle is taking credit for the promises being made by TV networks to reduce the amount of commercial time during their programming.

NBC, Fox, Turner, Viacom and others have pledged to trim commercial breaks, one of many responses to downward pressure on advertising as digital continues its disruption. Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes even complained about "too many" ads being "part of the problem" with the traditional TV business during his testimony in the company's antitrust trial last week.

Darn Ill missing dancing to popular olde songs during the drug commercials, Lets Groove Tonight is my jam whenever the Toujeo commercial comes on, and the TRESIBE READY!!! jingle is so catchy...as well as the HARP background music for that long commercial :(

less car ads would be nice
